S Bar (prev. Bar Rouge) — Restaurant in Barcelona

My partner and I came last Friday to this bar; attracted by the music we decide to have a drink here. The place was not as busy as other times. I was waiting to be served and nobody (3 bartenders) care I was there for more than 5 min. Customer service in Barcelona is hideous we all know that but I was horrified by one of the girls who was obviously high as a kite and didn’t care, I have to catch her eyes ( nobody else was waiting at the bar to be served)I politely asked for a Cava & Margarita, off she went to dry glasses to talk to other bartenders I waited more and more and she was basically to cool for school and served a guy that came after me. This woman didn’t care at all, for the bar, for the customers for nothing really. We left; prefer to give my money to another business that really care and treat people decently...shame because I have been here before...

Extremely rude bar staff. When we walked in we were met with quite an inhospitable greeting. We tried to engage in conversation with the bar staff but were side eyed. I'm suspecting at this point we may not be their preferred cliental. We were told we couldn't have the drinks we wanted. The other two bar staff looked at us as though we should leave.

I witnessed three young ladies walk into the bar (again, probably not their preferred cliental) who were totally ignored by the three bar staff. The young ladies tried to get the staff attention but they were blatantly ignored.

In this day and age I expect inclusiveness to work in all directions. This place was horrendous.

Needless to say, we didn't finish our drinks but...

Los jueves y los domingos a las 20:30 hacen espectáculo flamenco con cante , toque y baile con entrada gratuita. La aportación se les da a los músicos directamente. La función se hace en dos partes con un descanso de 10/20 minutos. La calidad del espectáculo es MUY alta, comparable a tablaos con mayor reputación convirtiéndolo en la mejor opción para ver buen flamenco pero en un ambiente mucho más íntimo y por un precio asequible. También tiene una gran calidad de artistas. Los músicos van variando cada vez, dando así oportunidad para descubrir diferentes cantaores y guitarristas de gran nivel. La chica que baila lo hace de manera excepcional, de primera categoría y deja a todos mudos una vez se levanta y empieza a bailar. La experiencia en general es increíble, impactante y 100% recomendable. Un sitio perfecto para llevar amigos y dejarlos asombrados de una manera inesperada. Después de ir durante varios años, la única pega que he encontrado ha sido ver a un borracho siendo muy irrespetuoso con los artistas, molestando durante todo el espectáculo, tanto a ellos como a la gente que había acudido al local, haciendo del espectáculo algo frustrante y convirtiéndolo en una experiencia negativa para muchos. Llegó a enfrentarse, discutir y querer echar a la gente que le llamaba la atención por molestar con tan mala educación. Aunque los músicos le llamaron la atención repetidas veces, éste siguió igual, mostrando una enorme falta de respeto hacia ellos, su música y todos los presentes. La mayor sorpresa ha sido descubrir que ese borracho malcriado es el jefe. Por suerte sólo me he encontrado una vez con esta situación, así que sigue siendo un lugar muy recomendable. El problema es que si esta situación se repitiera muchas veces, tristemente dejaría de ir y de llevar gente. A nadie le gusta presenciar una...
