We just returned from a 7-day cruise through Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina, and Malta, departing from and returning to Barcelona. On our final day with a layover in Barcelona, our hotel recommended Casa Leopoldo—and it turned out to be the best meal of the entire trip (and that’s saying a lot, because we had some excellent meals along the way!).
We ordered sangria, octopus, ox tail croquettes, noodle paella, and for dessert the five-experience chocolate dessert and the cheesecake. Every dish was absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared, generous portions, and beautifully presented.
The service was equally impressive: warm, friendly, and attentive without ever feeling rushed. Prices were very reasonable considering the outstanding quality and portion sizes.
