Sandwich Club Barcelona Poblenou — Restaurant in Barcelona

Quite good, but there's room for improvement. I ordered the pastrami sandwich, fties and a flat white. The sandwich was quite good, but I think 14€ is a bit too much, the bread was soft and foamy like an ordinary toast bread, I think something more dense would make it more interesting. The fries were not good: very dark, oily and hollow inside. I told the waitress, she acknowledged my complaint and offered money back or a new attempt if it the could make it better. Unfortunately it wasn't, they need to work on this. Staff handled it very professionally, it was impressive. The ambiente is really nice, I didn't really like the fancy looking heavy metal designer chair, it was really cold to sit on. I don't remember I ever complained about a chair in the restaurant... I think if they make some minor improvements this place will be not just...

On the 6th of June my friends and I were charged €156 for 4 sandwiches and drinks and 2 portions of fries to share. The total should have been around €80 so we were charged almost double. I’ve already reached out twice on Instagram and emailed twice. They responded to my first email looking for the transaction time to which I responded right away. They never got back to me and it’s been over 2 weeks since I responded with the relevant details.

I was visiting Barcelona, I am not from the area so I can’t come back to dispute this charge in person and I unfortunately did not keep the receipt. Be wary when you visit that you are not overcharged. As I paid the bill I paid the additional overcharge of about €80 so my sandwich came to about €100 in total. Had an amazing brunch at Sandwich Club in Poblenou! I ordered the eggs benedict with salmon, the pastrami, and an iced matcha — everything was delicious. I also tried their torrija and it was absolutely amazing. Service was super friendly and fast, and the food presentation was spot on. The staff even made small adjustments to the dishes to fit our preferences.
