Sun Coffee and Bakery — Restaurant in Barcelona

Big seating area with lots of tables for 4. Cheap (e.g. coffee + croissant for 2€). Good coffee? No. Good pastries? No. Good service? No. Good atmosphere? No. Would I come back? No. Disgruntled, rude staff. Atmosphere is horrible because they toss and smash plates and cups as they wash them (I guess) and it constantly sounds like they're breaking crockery. It's a pity because the place is roomy and it would be good to sit for a while and make a couple of phone calls or work on the computer a little, but this environment gives you such a headache you just want to leave (and no, it's mostly the staff and not the customers who are making these horrible constant noises). The croissant was also disgusting, clearly one of those industrial, deep-frozen pastries and not fresh or very well cooked. This is unforgivable in Barcelona because we have bakeries everywhere with magnificent...

Sun Bakery Coffee Shop in Barcelona may offer plenty of space and comfortable seating, but that's about all it has going for it. Owned by Chinese proprietors, the café is staffed entirely by Latin American women who seem more interested in chatting loudly with each other than in attending to customers. The constant blast of Latin music only adds to the overall unpleasantness, making the atmosphere anything but relaxing. Despite its size, the ambiance is terrible. The décor feels mismatched and uninspired, while the noise levels are off the charts. To top it off, the coffee is weak and bitter, and the pastries taste stale and uninspired. If you're in Barcelona, you'd be better off skipping Sun Bakery and finding a café that actually values...

Lo siento, pero creo que no vuelvo. El local está muy bien para teletrabajar porque tiene muchos enchufes y de verdd ponen el aire acondicionado.

Sin embargo, la música altísima incluso después de pedir que la bajaran un poco, que estaba haciendo un meeting de curro con Shakira de fondo a todo gas dándolo todo.

Iba a consumir uno de sus smoothies y me di cuenta de que eran UN PREARADO! POR 4,50€ TE PONEN UN FLASH DEL MERCADONA EN VASO? Se creen un Sandwichez pero sin productos naturales y locales.

Ojo, Sandwichez tampoco me gusta. El de esta mañana ponían un poco el aire acondicionado a intervalos de media hora y ttodos teletrabajando con un café y chorreando a sudor. También la camarera con los cherretes pero ese no es el tema ahora.

Pedimos un frape helado pequeño. El vaso llenado a la mitad (un cafelillo corto) por 4€.

Ahora entiendo porqué...
