Syra Coffee - Bonavista — Restaurant in Barcelona

This is the best coffee I have ever tried. Really tasty and has some special flavour which makes it unique. It was not very cheap before, but recently prices became even higher and sharply . Now the price is not reasonable cause you cannot even seat there, but I continue buying it because of wonderful taste 🤧 . Also the baristas are very nice and always have a good playlist . However sometimes there is a really big line. That is not a fault of baristas definitely, because you can see that they are professionals. However is is probably the fault of managers and owners who do not want to pay more for the workers so usually there is only 1 person working. Anyways the place is nice. A cool little coffee to go spot. No seating so not a place to hangout and have a slow coffee but a nice stop on the way to where ever is next. The pastries as well are very good especially the almond croissant. They do the basics well with coffee and really do not branch too far off of it. So this is your place to go for lattes, americanos and cappuccinos rather than expensive flavoured drinks. Esta cafetería en Gracia, se hace llamar 'el café del barrio', lo que sugiere un ambiente amable y cercano. Sin embargo, mi reciente experiencia demostró todo lo contrario.

Durante los últimos tres meses, he sido un cliente habitual y he disfrutado de sus buenos cafés y postres. Sin embargo, el servicio de sus baristas es lamentable. Sumado a la ineptitud, ineficiencia y la constante arrogancia de prácticamente todos, la gota que derramó el vaso fue hace unos días cuando visité el lugar y tuve un encuentro con un chico argentino. Desde el momento en que entré, no recibí ni siquiera un saludo, y su expresión de desgano y fastidio era evidente (a lo cual honestamente ya me había acostumbrado…). Al pedir un muffin, arrojó el producto sobre el mostrador y ni siquiera me ofreció una bolsa. Tuve que pedírsela yo, y me la entregó con desgano en la mesa sin decir una palabra. La situación alcanzó su punto máximo cuando le pregunté sobre su actitud y me respondió con un desparpajo, “es que ya voy a cerrar” como si esto fuese una excusa válida para recibir este maltrato (a pesar de que faltaban 10 minutos).

Estoy muy decepcionado por esta experiencia, y quiero dejar claro que no pienso volver a este lugar y mucho menos recomendarlo a nadie. A pesar de disfrutar de sus productos, tampoco son indispensables y las opciones alrededor son menos pretenciosas y más amables con sus clientes, sobre...
