Do yourself a favor and walk 100 meters past this place to the hundreds of much better restaurants that Barcelona has to offer. The food was just ok, the drinks were decent enough - this place is ok but it is just not worth the money, not even close. We spent several days in Barcelona and had tremendously better food at so many places and at a fraction of the price. This ended up being our least favorite restaurant - by far - and also the most expensive - by far. I'm leaving 2 stars because our waiter was outstanding and because the pizzas looked decent (most people were ordering pizza, we made the mistake of ordering bland pasta dishes, olives and cheese plates that were very very cold and undressed and unseasoned, and "carpaccio" that was deli roast beef - but not the good kind that was rare, the several days old looking brown and grey version.) The other negatives were one of the staff members arriving and basically getting changed in front of us, and that they let the street vendors show up and harass you at the table - I'm talking about those guys that walk around the port with roses or bracelets and try to get you to buy them. We had two guys show up and try to sell us a rose .... it would be one thing if the outdoor seating was wide open to the public, but in this case it's elevated and tented off through an entrance - but they let these people walk right in, and up to your table!! I don't like leaving overly negative reviews but this place won't starve, given it's proximity to the coast and cruise ship passengers, and thousands of 4+ ratings ... and it's also possible the pizza is good, I just don't know. If you're in that area and really craving a pizza, maybe it's worth it??? ... ultimately my opinion is that if you're in Barcelona, I strongly recommend looking at other...
Read moreThis was a very mediocre and disappointing experience. My husband and I were getting a bit tired of Spanish tapas, so we decided to try this “Italian” restaurant that seemingly had great reviews…
My husband decided to get the Margherita pizza, and when it arrived it had no basil - it was just a simple cheese pizza. I checked the menu to make sure it wasn’t a mistake on our part and the menu clearly said basil is part of the ingredients as it should be for a Margherita pizza to be a Margherita pizza. I asked one of the waitresses who was basically indifferent and said “does it include it? I don’t know maybe they ran out,” and then left. No apologies, no checking with the kitchen.
You’re an “Italian” restaurant - how do you run out of basil?? And if you did, wouldn’t the most honest thing be to come out and tell us before serving and ask if we’d rather want something else rather than pretend that we won’t notice because we are tourists?
When I mentioned it to our main waitress, same response. “The kitchen probably ran out of it, sorry, can’t do anything.” After we paid - which btw there was no change in pricing even though the pizza was not delivered with the correct said ingredients, she even had the audacity to tell me “well I guess I’ll see you next time, because clearly you’re not on vacation.” Um, what? I’m not on “vacation mode” because I actually check to see whether you served me what I asked?
The cheese was also pretty cheap and tough to cut, the crust was not great. The seafood pasta I was recommended was also quite mediocre. Will not be returning and definitely do not recommend this place to anyone who actually enjoys good food and...

From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special — but what truly elevated our experience was Mariana. Her warmth, attentiveness, and genuine passion for making guests feel welcome went far beyond standard service. She didn’t just serve us — she hosted us, like an old friend welcoming you home.
The food? Incredible. Every bite transported me straight back to Italy — authentic, rich, full of soul. It’s rare to find a place where the atmosphere, cuisine, and service all align to create something truly memorable, but this restaurant delivers on every level.
Mariana was the cherry on top of an already exceptional evening. She anticipated our needs before we even asked, made us feel cared for without ever being overbearing, and shared her knowledge of the menu with such enthusiasm that it made us want to try everything. Her energy was infectious, and I can say with all honesty: she deserves a raise — no question.
If anyone at this restaurant is reading this: Please recognize Mariana. She turned a great dinner into an unforgettable one. She’s the kind of person who doesn’t just do her job — she makes people want to come back.
Thank you again for an evening we’ll be talking about for a long time. You’ve won not just a...
