Trash Talk - Food & Booze — Restaurant in Barcelona

TrashTalk—What a delightful place. I was on a work trip with my co-workers, from the Home Depot (in Los Banos, CA). We were doing research on Mediterranean scaffolding. All that being said, trash talk was recommended to us by the W-Hotel's concierge. The service was incredible since the host, Pablo, was extremely attentive. Some of the boys witnessed him make four drinks, with one hand.

The next morning, we couldn't stop talking about TLOP "the Legend of Pablo" to other residents at the W-Hotel. Coincidentally, we found out these guys were on a work trip also. They were from the Lowes in Wantagh, NY and were researching concrete.

Found this place after an instagram advertisement. Amazing place to go after work for drinks & food. The cheese sticks were some of the best I’ve ever had! I want to go back just for them. We got a selection of food as we was a large table, I will say the OG sandwich was slightly dry, a few of us said it needed more of the sauce. The pulled pork bao was really tasty & the cocktail el dedo verde was really refreshing & light to taste. I gave 4 stars for service as I did at times feel like I was trying to get the bar men’s attention behind the bar for another drink but other than that great service and atmosphere is super cool! De las peores experiencias que pude tener un sábado por la noche en Barcelona. Fuimos tres personas al lugar por recomendación de un amigo que nos comentó de la buena música y buen rollo que se vivía en el lugar y de buen rollo nada.

Llegamos sobre las 7 de la tarde, pedimos comida y cañas para mi y mis amigos, probamos diferentes cosas del menú y desde ahí tuvimos problemas, trajeron la orden equivocada, pedimos cosas sin guarniciones y las traían, en fin cómo era plan tranquilo no hicimos ninguna queja y el mismo camarero se disculpó por su “error”.

Sobre las 9, sin previo aviso y sin ningún tipo de vocación a la atención al cliente el camarero nos dice que en 20 minutos necesita la mesa por qué estaba recebada y se va. Mis amigos y yo quedamos muy sorprendidos por la manera poco profesional y llamamos al camarero para pedir incluso una opción, por qué para ese entonces esperábamos a un par de personas más.

Su explicación básicamente era que nos teníamos que ir por qué tenía reserva de las mesas y ya está. Molestos por su actitud le dijimos que entendíamos pero nos parecía mal el no darnos una opción tipo: “mira necesito cambiarlos de mesa”, o “me sabe mal tener que decirles esto, pero por ahora no tengo aforo” (qué la verdad si lo tenia) su atención fue honestamente patética y lo peor es que nos dice “te voy a explicar cómo funcionan las cosas aquí por qué yo soy el dueño” resulta que el dueño del local hace que las experiencias sean pésimas.

Llame a mi amigo para decirle que su recomendación fue pésima, lo gracioso es que me dice: seguro te atendió Pablo, (“el dueño”) ese lugar es bueno si está Giuseppe Peps.

En fin, un lugar que cambia de experiencia según el personal de turno, de si tienen ánimos o no. Soy de los que piensa que no siempre el cliente tiene la razón, pero considero que debes hacerlo sentir a gusto, confortable y este lugar no...
