Xuba Tacos — Restaurant in Barcelona

If you follow me or have read my posts before I am not one to just give out 5 stars ⭐️ I have been to Xuba at least 4 times and have tried many times to make a reservation on Mondays only to forget each time they are not open and left in disappointment that I can’t have the rossini sirloin taco 🤤 😂 venue: it’s all high stool seating inside and outside on the terraza. In my opinion, consider it a spot to have a quicker lunch/ dinner. The staff does NOT rush you in any way it’s just that the tacos come out fairly quickly and you could go broke ordering more and more tacos 🌮 by my third rossini I’m stuffed and only 35 mins has gone by 😝 the staff is always friendly and open to making recommendations. Okay now the food…the guacamole is fresh and the side salsas on the table are spicy in the best way possible. The margarita is the perfect compliment to the tacos. My favorite taco of all time is the SOLOMILLO ROSSINI (Solomillo a la plancha, kale, foie gras a la plancha, cebolla y salsa de trufa)!!! 🤤 this last time I had the TOSTADA DE ATÚN (Lomo de atún marinado en soja y cítricos, chipotle mayo, cebollino, sésamo, huevas de trucha), amazingly tasty. I don’t know how I missed this on the menu before! I have also thoroughly enjoyed the fan favorites: asada and al pastor. Clearly I highly recommend, if you get a chance to go, enjoy! Great tacos. Best I have ever tried. Fun fact: the tortillas are made with blue corn flour, which is gluten free!!

We tried the whole menu and it was delicious! The obvious recommendation is the Solomillo Rosinni. You can’t go wrong with those flavours.

However, I like to be more adventurous and try new things. Therefore, my recommendations are: the lubina, and BOTH tostadas. They were amazing.

In addition, the mole was the best I have tried, but it is a more difficult taste for some people.

I would definitely try their pudding if you have a sweet tooth like me. It is more like a soft cheesecake with a liqueur on top.

For drinks, the Frozen margaritas were really refreshing.

Perhaps, my only “complaint” would be the spice. Don’t expect any kick from any of these tacos. They do have two nice salsas you can add yourselves if you like spicy food like me. Had a superb meal here last night!!! Made an online reservation for an outdoor table that my daughter and I enjoyed. The food was delicious, super flavorful and full of only fresh ingredients. We loved everything we ordered including the chicken quesadilla, Al Pastor tacos, Sea bass taco, and the chili poblano taco with tenderloin which totally satisfied our craving for something spicy. Our server Patrick was as kind, friendly, and helpful as all past reviews mention. He’s famous and for good reason. I was grateful to him for his helpful recommendations and his kind manner. He is the resident English speaker among the staff and he made us feel very welcome. Also I can’t recommend enough the Margarita. Maybe the best one I can recall ever having.
