It's crazy how your mood after eating out is influenced by so many factors. Lately, in my case, the main factor has been the taste of the food. Unfortunately, I think I tend to over-analyze what I'm eating because I know I'm gonna write about it, so I don't relax... and I don't enjoy it so much. A few days ago, I took my family to Yakisake, a new (to me) yakiniku spot in BCN. We were received by a very nice staff who started chatting with us and helping us choose what to eat. This definitely helped me relax and feel at ease. In fact, I felt so at ease that I forgot to take pics. Luckily, my wife was here to remind me! We ordered 2 sets of meat and a few extra dishes, like some fried rice with truffle and beef, and some sort of sushi in casseroles... The presentation of everything was spectacular and the taste of the meat was amazing. What's cool about yakiniku is that each guest can decide how to prepare their meat. And another thing that's cool is that you don't eat too fast cause you need to wait for each piece to be ready, and since the room on the grill is limited... Therefore you eat less (but enough) and have more time to spend with your friends or family. And you don't spend too much (I think that, despite the wagyu set, the price per person didn't reach 40, all included). The place is nice and apparently they're still working on it cause I saw downstairs what seem to be 2 rooms for private parties. As I said, the meat was great and, even though the menu has many more choices, I'd focus on the meat cause it really is what this place excels in. Well, that and the service cause, again, on our way home, what we all praised Yakisake for was the friendliness and the good vibes of all the members of the staff we were in contact with. Thanks, Yakisake's staff for that great moment!

Read moreIt was an incredible experience. I didn't even expect that such a pleasant service could be. I would like to express special thanks to all the staff of the restaurant and especially one waiter whose name I forgot because I have a bad memory (with a very short haircut, Irben or… sorry, I don’t remember), and it was also very nice to see that the owner of the restaurant Lin also helps in all directions. As for the food and experience, it was incredible. We tried wagyu, the quality of the meat is at an excellent level, the restaurant is new and everything is in excellent condition. The cutlery is very clean and beautiful, the service is at a high level. This is a great place to get together with a group of friends and share a meal. If you come here for the first time, then I advise you to take a set of your choice and try different meats to understand which one suits you best. I highly recommend you beef tongue, as well as Presa de Wagyu. It was an incredible experience and I will definitely come back here again and again, now you have a regular customer and I will recommend this place to all my friends. I also want to note that this place has...
Read moreI walked into YakiSaki and was greeted by Lin, who had such a wonderful personality and an amazing smile. She took the time to explain everything clearly and even helped me get started. I ordered the Japanese BBQ dish for two, and every single item was beautifully plated, fresh and delicious and the dipping sauce flavors were incredible.
To finish off the meal, I was offered a complimentary shot of the house alcohol, which was a nice surprise and really delicious. From start to finish, Lin was attentive, kind, and made the whole experience feel special.
Thank you for a lovely evening. If you are in the area, definitely stop by for great food, friendly people, and a beautiful...
