We ate lunch here on our first full day in Benalmedina. It is a small yet busy beach-front restaurant with a man out the front stoking a wood-fuelled fire. This fire is used to grill any fish that is on the menu. We ordered the €7 grilled sardines and were excited to see them grilled right in front of us on the fire. We also ordered the Prawns al pil pil (which came with complimentary bread rolls) and the fried anchovies with four soft drinks and it all came to around €41. The fish was fresh and delicious and we felt it was good value for money. Lots of great items on the menu so we are looking to go back and try some more, maybe the octopus salad and more seafood. We went back the next day only to observeb the staff sitting at one of the tables and chatting while we waited for service. We waited for some time before finally giving up and going down the beach to a place with great service!
There are so many great places to go in Benalmadena. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place! The service is one of the worst in...
