Pasta Fresca Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Benalmádena

We have visited this restaurant several times pre-covid and were very much looking forward to it on this visit as our previous experiences had been faultless. This time, I was so disappointed. Both our meals were very salty. As I do not cook with salt myself, I thought it could just be my own personal choice but my husband (who is a salt monster) claimed his was also very salty. Maybe it was just a bad night for the chef as on previous visits, the food has been amazing. The staff on the other hand went from one extreme to the other. The waiter (who we know has been there for years), was very friendly and helpful. The waitress looked as if she didn't want to be there. There was very little eye contact, no friendly welcome and she came across as ignorant. Had the service been better we may have tried a dessert and had more drinks, but due to the attitude of the waitress we paid the bill and left without...

Worst paella i have eaten, and im in an all inclusive hotel... it was tastier in los patos hotel..... Menu isn't clear about the food, cancelled an item we ordered prior to it coming out. They said it had been made, i assumed it was breads so we wanted to order several other items instead but wouldnt cancel the bread with tomatoes on.... 11 euros we was charged. Instead we ordered the seafood paella and it was a poor attempt. I can cook a tastier one myself. Worst 60 euro i ever spent. Dont think the customer service was good, nor the food. Walked in and stood like Lemons for a couple of minutes while the chap who looked like he was one of the owners decided to stop laying tables and lead us to ours . The lady who served us looked like she would preferably be doing anything else rather than working in a restaurant. We shared pil pil prawns as a starter which were ok but took an age to arrive. My wife had the salmon which was of low quality ( the salmon I buy at Aldi is much better) tasteless and had not been properly pin boned. I had cod which was completely overwhelmed by about half a pint of caramelised onions sauce. All the sauce did was hide the small portion of low quality fish. Worst dining experience we ve had for...
