Tapas Bar Grill La Terraza — Restaurant in Benalmádena

The place seems to have a good reputation and the food looked promising, but unfortunately our experience with the service left a bad impression. When we arrived without a reservation, the staff member told us rather bluntly, “No reservation, no service,” without offering a polite alternative or suggesting to come another day.

We also asked for a recommendation nearby, as we were unfamiliar with the area, but her response was dismissive and unhelpful. She mentioned she doesn’t live in the area and showed no interest in assisting further.

We ended up eating at another nearby restaurant where the food was also great and the service welcoming. It’s a shame, because we might have returned another time with a reservation — but the attitude we encountered made us decide not to. Good food matters, but so does...

We started our holiday having our first evening meal here, and thought it fitting we ended it here too.

The service is incredible, our lovely waitress recognised us after a week, and was incredibly friendly and charming despite being very busy.

The food is delicious, but the desserts.. an absolute dream! I wish I could have had seconds ! The cheesecake was beautiful, soft and creamy and just right.

I would recommend booking ahead, although I don't see a way of doing so online, but if you arrive early enough, say 17:00 you should get a table.

This place fills up very quickly and rightfully so, absolutely wonderful...

So saw this place had good reviews on here. Gave it a try and so glad that we did. Really good value for money. Can't believe how much food you get from €2 a plate. Loved the honey aubergine, the bbq spare rib just fell off the bone. Shout out also to the homemade blueberry cheese cake. Delicious! My father in law loved the spaghetti bolegnese so much, he came back and ordered the same thing again the very next evening. The waitress couldn't be more welcoming and really looked after our party of 4 adults and 18 month old boy. If we're ever back in Benalmádena will definitely come...
