Possibly the worst sangria in Benidorm if not Spain if not the world. Really disappointed with our last visit to the place. We have been many times before and used to recommend it to friends. However on our last visit we tried the sangria. The 1st jug was served with such a small lip on it that when you tried to pour it most of the sangria went on our clothes, the table and the floor. We asked for another jug which was provided. Now we could pour the sangria into our glasses we got to taste it. The best way to describe it was red coloured soda water. Absolutely no taste and little of a red wine. We paid up and left as it was undrinkable.
Historically the sangria has been fine albeit usually served with way too much ice. This time little ice which appeared to be a positive but now no taste.
We were assured the recipe has not changed but I guarantee you it has.
Management please revert back to the old recipe as the current stuff...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTried a few rooftop bars in Benidorm and this one is by far the best! (you donāt have to be a guest at this hotel to visit). Visited on a Saturday night at around 8pm and was very busy so recommend reserving for ease and if you want a table against the glass balcony and or in a big group! Nevertheless we only waited around 5-10 mins for a table as the staff were very quick at getting you a table! Free entry as-well which in comparison to Selvatico on top of the Primavera Park hotel which is ā¬5pp entry!
Staff were very attentive and a lot happier than selvatico staff by a stretch!!
Cocktails were amazing! Only had 1 cocktail (mojito & other half had a daiquiri) which were beautiful! Good quality ingredients used and cocktails varied from around ā¬10-14! Views were amazing! Looking out onto the whole of Benidorm, old town and poniente beach!
Definitely will be returning on our next visit...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA true hidden gem with stunning views over the coastline and sea promenade! Entry is completely free, not like the Primavera hotel Terrace, which charges ā¬5. The drink selection is decent, with reasonably priced wines, beers, and bottled options. However, the mocktails are more like smoothies than traditional mocktails, as theyāre made in a blender rather than shaken.
My drink was initially incorrect, but the server kindly remade it without any fuss. While the thick, smoothie-like texture of the cocktails and mocktails seemed consistent across tables, the other drinks were great and fairly priced. Despite this minor drawback, the overall experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend giving it a tryāthe views alone are...
