Can hands down say my worst McDonaldâs experience, two nights in a row. After our flight into Benidorm on Sunday evening, we grabbed a McDonaldâs before heading to bed, only about 10pm. Food took absolutely ages to come out and the chips were probably the worst Iâve had. We ordered to eat in but ended up taking away due to the huge wait time. Gone in again tonight 18/02/25 and this was a hundred times worse. Myself and my partner ordered 2 McFlurryâs at 9:43pm to sit with at the beach. It wasnât very busy at the time, one or two others waiting for an order. As it reached 10pm, we considered going and mentioning it to the staff but when we did this on Sunday, they just told us to wait. The man who was on swiftly cleared all tickets on the screen and left his shift and joined a table in the restaurant. The woman who seemed to take over just after 10pm carried on. Iâve never seen so much food piled up waiting to be served before. We tried to speak to her as numbers after our own were being called and clearly, we had a super simple order. She said âuno momentoâ and walked away and continued serving others. She then took payment for several more meals. We asked again and got the same response. And again and the same thing. My partner then asked a man behind the counter who was packing up meals and he did them instantly for us. We walked out of McDonaldâs at about 22:23, 40 minutes after we ordered.    Read moreThis McDonaldâs branch is in desperate need of intervention. The level of disorganization and lack of basic customer service is beyond unacceptable. Staff are visibly overwhelmed, under-trained, and incapable of handling even moderate customer flow. When it gets busy, chaos ensuesâthey pile up new orders without processing the existing ones, losing track of sequence and accuracy. It's not uncommon to receive the wrong order after an unreasonable wait.
In my most recent visit, I waited 40 minutes for a cheeseburgerâwhich arrived without cheese. The drink I paid for had been sitting for half an hour before it was handed to me, completely watered down. When questioned, I received a blank smile and was told Iâd have to request a new one.
The atmosphere is frantic and stressful. Staff look like theyâre cracking under pressureâsome visibly distressed, others shouting orders in a space that echoes with confusion. There's never a manager in sight, and it shows. Tables are dirty, the floor sticky, and cleanliness is clearly not a priority.
This isnât just poor serviceâitâs a breakdown in operational management. Without proper training and leadership, this location should not be open to the public. The only reason it continues to operate is because it bears the McDonaldâs name. If you value your time, money, and sanityâavoid this branch...

They were so adamant of me just getting a sauce to cover the difference. 3.80⏠for the grande fries shaker. Went to my table as they werenât listening to what I was asking for (a refund). Opened my burger and the extra bacon Iâve ordered is not put in. Went back and was told that they would finish all other orders before giving me my burger. Waited around 15 minutes to get a replacement standing in the queue as they said I have to wait here. Got to my table still no bacon in the bloody burger. Went back to ask for it to be done again and refused to wait so they came after 10 mins with a new burger with the correct ingredients inside.
