The Robin Hood — Restaurant in Benidorm

The Robin Hood is situated on the Plaza Hispanidad a short stroll from the Old Town and on the fringe of the New Town - easy to pass and miss, but well worth seeking out.

I was struggling to find anywhere decent that took my fancy one Tuesday night over Christmas and popped in here after looking at the overall great reviews. It didn't disappoint.

This is a small family run pub with the owner originally from Nottingham (hence the name), with a good selection of well-kept beers and a bar menu with various reasonably priced dishes.

I opted for the steak pie, chips, veg and gravy and it was delicious. The wedge of pie was packed with succulent chunks of steak in a crisp pastry. Cooked to perfection and it hit the spot.

I wish I had found this pub before the end of my holiday. It ticks all the boxes with friendly staff, well priced food and ales and it's clean. I would recommend...

First time here and wasn’t disappointed. We had a steak. Cooked to perfection, juicy and tasty chips too. Very busy and the lady serving was doing a great job without fuss to keep up and keep things flowing. Well worth it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for some good tasty british food.

Top Tip: like a lot of places in Benidorm they don’t take card, so cash only. This is frustrating as I generally go cashless everywhere and it cost me a fee to withdraw cash just to eat here. I’d happily pay a little more on their prices to cover their bank costs to let me pay by contactless, much safer in my opinion these days and it meant ultimately we just spent less overall as we used the hotels inclusive service rather than spending at the venues. May return but depends if we have any cash left otherwise we’ll have to choose those that do take...

This is a great value for money restaurant and bar, we have visited four times in six days, we like it that much,the large breakfast sets you up for the day, you get two of bacon and sausage both large sizes, eggs,beans and toms and two toast for €6,50,tea or coffee optional but cheap, we have the steak special for an evening meal at €12,50 and its great, proper home made chips with all the trimmings, and the steak is really tender sirloin at about 8/10oz, its well worth a visit, but it does get busy being in a good location on the main street next to the old town, its near to McDonald's, the beers are a good price too, the staff are English and very friendly and make the visit more enjoyable, we love the place, and will use...
