The Robin Hood is situated on the Plaza Hispanidad a short stroll from the Old Town and on the fringe of the New Town - easy to pass and miss, but well worth seeking out.
I was struggling to find anywhere decent that took my fancy one Tuesday night over Christmas and popped in here after looking at the overall great reviews. It didn't disappoint.
This is a small family run pub with the owner originally from Nottingham (hence the name), with a good selection of well-kept beers and a bar menu with various reasonably priced dishes.
I opted for the steak pie, chips, veg and gravy and it was delicious. The wedge of pie was packed with succulent chunks of steak in a crisp pastry. Cooked to perfection and it hit the spot.

Very busy and the lady serving was doing a great job without fuss to keep up and keep things flowing. Well worth it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for some good tasty british food.
