Bar "El Puente" — Restaurant in Benidorm

Recently stopped here to feed my husband whose struggling with hotel food. We went for take away this time but pleased to note wheelchair access available for both indoor and outdoor eating.

Staff were really warm and welcoming and spoke good english.

Take away Tubs are perfect. Chicken was really nice, salad contained meat (just an FYI if your vegetarian. Unfortunately chips werent fantastic but plenty edible. Garlic dip was lovely too.

The chicken in El Puente is hands down the most delicious chicken I have ever tasted. The restaurant is tiny, but don't let that stop you from trying. The staff are super friendly and it's very clean. For a meal for two, which was two half chickens, one chip, one baked potato, one salad for two, baguette bread, and two pints of shandy for the grand price of 20 euros, yes that's right 20 euros. The locals queue up to get take-out, so that is an indication of how tasty...

Avoid. Went there today after looking at reviews and was bitterly disappointed. Chicken was dry, came in a plate of water and the salad was a random undressed salad with bits of egg and tuna in it. The restaurant was unnecessarily loud with staff literally throwing raw chickens across the bar and onto the counter to put on the spit. No better than a supermarket cooked chicken from back home 🤮
