I have often heard so many people talking about this place as if it was personally picked by the ambassador of Italy. Coming from New York, I have had my share of mouthwatering Italian food. This was not it. I walked into this Italian restaurant with high hopes, but unfortunately, my expectations were shattered like a cheap wine glass. From the deceiving décor to the subpar pasta, this place had all the charm of a dentist's waiting room.
The first dish I ordered was the classic margherita pizza. But when it arrived at my table, it looked like a sad, limp excuse for a pizza. The crust was as thin as a wafer and as dry as a desert. The cheese was barely melted, and the tomato sauce tasted like it had been canned during the last century.
Next up, I ordered the spaghetti carbonara. To my dismay, it was swimming in a pool of cream sauce that was so heavy, it could have sunk the Titanic all over again. The bacon was chewy, and the egg was cooked to oblivion, leaving it as dry as the Sahara. And don't even get me started on the dessert...
Overall, this Italian restaurant left me feeling like I had just taken a trip to the culinary equivalent of purgatory. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience, I suggest you keep on walking. Or...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant on 11th April. We were greeted and seated (and forgottena bout. ) After about 15 minutes had past, we managed to attract the attention of a waitress and asked for the menu, as it had not arrived naturally. She delivered the menu and walked away saying nothing. Around 20 minutes later we had to call her again to give her our food and wine order. Again 25 minutes later we were still waiting, and called her back again as we would have liked our bottle of wine, so that we could have had a glass before our food came. But the food came at the some time as the bottle of wine. Now the problem was the the waitress was unable to take the cork out of the wine bottle without her colleagues help. ( However the pizzas were delicious) If this was my business I would not be tolerating that kind of service. There were quite a few diners on one side of the restaurant, but there were also a lot of empty tables all around the restaurant.yet the waitress were turning customers away all evening. ( If I were the owner I would be worried. There were a lot of...
