Absolutely the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in all my travels around the world. The waiter dropped the bread on the table no plates that is how our meal began. I got locked in the bathroom and the waiter was laughing. The croquettes tasted like glue. The waitress was chewing gum blowing bubbles. The grilled shrimp were like paste. Likely frozen for over a year. I actually spat it out on my plate to avoid food poisoning. The waitress knew they were bad because she was laughing. Our hotel recommended this place and shame on them. I think this restaurant must hire people to scrub the internet for bad reviews because I went online and found mostly good reviews. Or you could go directly to the restaurant & try to get a table between 2:00pm - 2:30pm. It's always full! Read moreA very welcoming and friendly restaurant. Visited as a family with my wife and 2 teenage kids. We wanted to experience some Basque cooking. Staff were friendly and despite not speaking much English managed to get by with my basic Spanish and Google Translate! Food was simple, well cooked and good sized portions. Not cheap, probably mid-range for me (our bill came to just over 200 euros with no alcohol) but definitely value for money and well worth it. Was busy with locals which I always think is a good sign....
