Didn't managed to taste food. Some nervous people work there and they offer only menus, not allowing any individual choice. As I might understand the policy, but can't understand why you can't order individually from the Menu, even if you don't mind to pay.
Dear Rongori Restaurante Owner,
We fully respect your policy, as it is your restaurant and you may run it the way you like. We entered in an empty restaurant and there was no special need to be seated. Your staff showed us the table which was not reserved. The waiter slammed the plates on our table, giving us a hint that we might not be welcome in the establishment. I do agree that there was misunderstanding, we wanted to eat as per our preference from your menu and pay for everything, and were told that it is not possible. I have been to many restaurants in Basque County and the common policy in all of them, comparing to yours, was kindness and hospitality. I also find very annoying that you are underestimating your neighbouring colleagues and their restaurants, it is not usual for Basque people, you usually proudly stick together, which is very nice. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at the new restaurant across from the Guggenheim, and I can't recommend it highly enough! This gem is run by a young, talented chef who impressively speaks fluent Spanish, English, and Mandarin, making every guest feel exceptionally welcome.
The seafood here is a revelation—fresh, succulent, and beautifully prepared. The tender octopus and fish dishes stood out as some of the best I've ever had. Each bite showcased the chef's passion and dedication to his craft.
The service was impeccable, adding to the overall delightful experience. The head chef's enthusiasm and commitment to excellence were evident in every detail. I was so taken with the place that I found myself returning several times during my trip. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a remarkable meal in a convenient location. Five stars...
Read moreI booked a table at this restaurant for two people on Friday evening. The atmosphere was lovely, the music was relaxing and provided a cool background for a delicious dinner. The views of the Guggenheim and Duesto buildings was a great plus also!
The food was a fantastic mix of basque and oriental cuisine. Me and my partner ordered both menus (which I would recommend to experience everything!). Having both menus really allowed you us experience all elements. My favourite dishes were the Beef Cheek, and the Pork. Whereas my partner really enjoyed the Monkfish.
I’d recommend this to anyone who is looking to eat locally, and wants to try something that is a twist on local delicacies. The staff are so friendly and make you feel very welcome.
I can’t fault this place at all, and I look forward to...
