TENDILLAS 5 — Restaurant in Córdoba

Everything went wrong with this place. We tried to have lunch when they were supposed to be open and they were closed. We went back in the evening and even if we went there before other people, we were the very last ones to order. The waitress brought our drinks and one was missing and then we were waiting for 1 hour for our food to arrive and when we asked her if it would eventually come she said that she forgot about it and that she was alone. Then she asked us if we want a complementary drink and we only asked for water but she forgot that one as well. After 1 hour and 30 min the food arrived and it was nothing special. The meat was full of fat and the restaurant is expensive for the quality of food and service. When we asked for the bill she said that she removed one of the dishes and the water. I also work in a restaurant and if one person waits 1 hour and 30 min to eat and we don’t do anything correct on his table we provide everything complementary. Moreover, it took us ages to manage to pay because again she forgot about us. My boyfriend is the most humble person on earth and he was about to leave without paying. There are better places in Cordoba for sure. :)

We are very disappointed. We sat down at an outside table. As soon as we sat down, our six year old son's chair broke and he fell on the ground almost hitting his head on the metal light pole behind him. We got nervous when we realized how he could have been really been hurt when a waitress came and we expressed our worry about this chair that completely collapsed under our son, who weighs 28 kilograms. She shrugged her shoulders and asked us what the problem was. Although our son just hurt his elbow, no one at the restaurant asked if he was ok, one meekly apologized, and the lady dismissed our concerns as an annoyance. We then entered the restaurant and asked for the name of the manager or owner but none of the three people inside were willing to give us any information. This total disregard for safety and then lack of concern and compassion was appalling. We left but want to warn next visitors to check chairs at this place because, by their complete disregard to us, they probably aren't checking regularly for the safety of...

On a Saturday evening, they were able to accommodate our 8 person group outside. Nice location, view of plaza. Great drink and menu selection. They seemed to be running low on some items such as mint and later even potatoes. However, the food was delicious and seemed fairly priced. I highly recommend their patatas bravas and Daquiri. For their huevos camperos, they said they had run out of potatoes that evening but offered to replace them with other vegetables. The modified dish was still very good. It was a busy night, so a few of our orders were delayed. Upon being made aware of this, the servers were very apologetic and quickly corrected their mistake.
