Absolutely LOVED this place; while many seaside cities in Spain have great seafood, the combination of late hours (kitchen open until 2345), fresh produce and cost is a terrific combination and I enjoyed a terrific meal. There is something for pretty much any seafood lover and the side dishes complement any meal perfectly. The only recommendation I would make is to add some fried potatoes to the menu, as these would go well with the fried seafood.

Sábado de churros, esperando cola desde las 10:10 am hasta las 10:50am (va por cola y no por número)… y todo para esto de la foto 5,30€ de churros (poca cantidad me parece para el precio) masa cruda y sin consistencia por dentro y hechos a la prisa, flácidos y aplastados, no dorados ni crujientes… Esperar 40 minutos por esto porque el encargado ponga a atender solo a una persona en la cola de churros cuando ya saben por mucha experiencia que un sábado de julio se unen la gente local y los veraneantes es una tomadura de pelos y falta de respeto al cliente ya que se paga por un servicio decente. Pero esto es EXpaña e ir de listos y querer ganar lo de siempre y más sin contratar más personal. Luego a quejarse de que la hostelería no encuentra personal. Este sitio siempre ha tenido personal pero está claro que lo que falta es más organización, evolucionar y no creer que todo va a ir bien se haga lo que se haga porque toda la vida ha ido bien y también ganas de ponerse en el lado del cliente también y ver si es normal esperar ese tiempo por ese servicio y producto, ojo que yo soy de los que espero 2h si hace falta por una buena cena o almuerzo pero si es de calidad. Pero en el mundo de la hostelería hay mucho “hostelero” que solo sabe quejarse de que todo está fatal pero solo piensan en ganar.

I had a wonderful experience at Freiduría Las Flores 2! The seafood was fresh and full of authentic flavors. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were kind and helpful. Even though we didn’t speak Spanish and they didn’t speak English, we managed to communicate easily, and they took care of everything with warmth and professionalism. If you want to try local flavors in Cádiz, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Having read about this place and wanting a few hours by the beach, we nipped in to buy some takeaway for the beach. It was super busy on the weekend and the queue was long. Grab a ticket, and wait your turn...which isn't a bad thing as it gives you time to open google translate to figure out what it all is. You order by weight and the price depends on what you're having but it's very reasonable and fresh; with food being topped up all the time. You will probably have to do a lot of pointing and sign language but it works and they don't get annoyed. I found the food fresh but salty and I couldn't eat much. The kids weren't impressed but my wife enjoyed it. I think if seafood is your thing, you'll like this...

Don't hesitate to wait in a queue to get a table, it's relatively fast and absolutely worth it!

We went here on two evenings in a row and would do this for the next days also, if we weren't leaving Cadiz. Just get here in, and order 1/2 portion of every position. Repeat this until you tried the whole menu.

Long story short: great seafood, great atmosphere (yep, this is the real Spain here), friendly staff and more than fair prices!

Now I have a new mission: get here with my whole family and let them explore this...

I got takeaway food. The fried seafood is tasty, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are large. However, the line was very long. There are two separate queues: one for dining in, and another for takeaway. I went to buy food at 2:27 PM and waited in line for 50 minutes — honestly, it’s not worth it.
