I recently had the pleasure of eating at Pasillo Oriental in Córdoba, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The restaurant offers a unique blend of flavors and an inviting ambiance that made my visit truly memorable.

First and foremost, the food was outstanding. Every dish was a delightful journey of taste, prepared with fresh ingredients and an evident passion for culinary excellence. The menu offers a diverse selection of oriental cuisine, and everything I tried was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed not only the dishes but also the oriental drinks, which added an excellent touch to the whole experience.

The staff at Pasillo Oriental are remarkable, especially Mr. Islam. They are not only friendly and attentive but also multilingual, which adds a wonderful touch to the dining experience. It was impressive to see them comfortably switch between different languages to accommodate their guests, ensuring everyone feels welcome and well taken care of.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and elegant, perfect for a relaxed meal with friends. The decor is tasteful and contributes to the overall pleasant ambiance. Additionally, its location in the center of the historic city makes it a convenient and picturesque spot for a meal.

In summary, Pasillo Oriental is a gem in Córdoba. Whether you are a local or a visitor, I highly recommend giving this place a try. The combination of excellent food, superb service, and a warm atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I will definitely be returning on my next...

Pasillo Oriental was a nice little stop for something different. The vibe is friendly and welcoming – the staff were really kind, and you can tell they enjoy what they do. The menu has a good variety of options from Arabic cuisine, which is a nice change if you’ve been eating a lot of local or European food. We tried the falafel, and while I personally liked it, I feel like it could have been a bit better – maybe fresher or with a bit more seasoning. That said, it was still enjoyable and definitely satisfying if you’re into Middle Eastern flavors. The rest of the food was okay, nothing spectacular but decent enough. The pricing is a little on the higher side, especially considering the portion sizes and the casual setting, but I guess that’s pretty normal for the area. It’s not a fancy restaurant, but it works well if you’re looking for something fast and flavorful. The location is central, which is convenient if you’re walking around the city. Overall, I wouldn’t call this place a must-visit, but it’s a good option for when you’re in the mood for something different and want a quick, warm meal. With a few small tweaks to the recipes, it could easily be a standout. But even now, it’s worth giving it a try if you like falafel and Middle Eastern street food. Friendly people, tasty enough food, and a chill place to...

Tasty Halal Food in a Cozy Spot Near Córdoba Mosque

This restaurant is a gem for anyone seeking delicious halal food with a mix of Arabic and Spanish flavors. The experience is made even better by its warm ambiance, excellent location, and outstanding hospitality.

• Food: The menu offers a delightful selection of halal dishes, blending the best of Arab and Spanish cuisines. Every dish is carefully prepared, ensuring authenticity and great taste.

• Location: Perfectly situated right at the corner of Córdoba’s iconic Mosque-Cathedral (Mezquita), making it an ideal stop for tourists exploring the area.

• Staff: The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, with special mention to the owner, Mahmoud. His kindness and hospitality stand out—he treated me like a guest rather than just a customer. Meeting him alone is a reason to revisit.

• Atmosphere: The restaurant exudes a cozy and inviting vibe, perfect for enjoying a meal in comfort while soaking in the historical surroundings.

I will definitely return to this restaurant, not only for the food but also for the wonderful experience. Highly...

A Fantastic Find: Great Food, Excellent Service, and Good Value! I had a wonderful dining experience at Pasillo Oriental - S. Mohamed in Cordoba. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was the real highlight. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was delicious. The BAMIA (okra) was flavorful and perfectly cooked. The Kushari was a fantastic, authentic dish, and the Shawarma de pollo and Shawarma de ternera were both incredibly tasty and generous in portion size. It's clear that the restaurant uses fresh, high-quality ingredients. The value for the money was also impressive. For a meal that was so satisfying and delicious, the total of 47.35 EUR was very reasonable, especially for the quality and amount of food we received. Overall, I highly recommend Pasillo Oriental - S. Mohamed. If you're looking for a restaurant with great food, excellent service, and a good price point in Cordoba, this is the place to go. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

Fantastic restaurant with everything being so fresh. Pro The freshest and the tastiest baklava ever!! Cafe con leche is amazing! Lovely place with lots of natural light. I loved sitting next to the window. Customer service is fantastic!!!! 5 stars! They speak English and Spanish! Maybe more languages. Mint tea was so refreshing. Prices were very reasonable. All the ingredients are very fresh. Loved the tabouleh. They use the local olive oil which has a stronger flavor. I love it, but others may not be used to it. The platter is great for 12 euros where you get so many things to try on one plate. We loved the samosa! Areas that can be better: Baba ghanoush had more eggplant than tahini. Still very fresh. The one I like usually has a bit more tahini with garlic. The hummus also has more chickpea than tahini. I also like it a bit creamier. Nonetheless, both dishes are healthier with less tahini. The shawarma is good. The meat is good. But, I think the pickled beet should be replaced with something else since it has a strong pickled flavor. I would highly recommend overall!
