This place is a hidden gem and a must for foodies looking for quality and authentic local cuisine. We had dinner for 2, which came in around €110 for 3 courses, including a stunning bottle of Mallorcan wine and water. The service was impressive, and we were very well looked after. To start we were given a prestarter of Ajo Blanca con Uvas which was unexpected and thoroughly delicious before moving on to some shared tapas of padron peppers and crispy baby squid. These were incredible and easily the best I have had in Mallorca. For our mains, we had Iberian Pork and the Rib Eye steak, both which were cooked to perfection and just melted in the mouth. The flavours and accompaniments of the dishes were also perfect, a real treat, so of course we couldn't stop there and opted to try the coffee cake with sweet milk. Again, another resounding delicate and delicious plate. We were then treated to a wee limoncello which rounded of our meal perfectly. All in all our experience was fantastic and our hosts warm and friendly. We thoroughly recommend this place and can't wait to revisit....
Read moreVery nice and cozy gastrobar — a refreshing change from the many cheap, sketchy fast-food spots around Magaluf.
We started with a spinach salad and a platter of jamón serrano — both outstanding. The ham practically melted in our mouths! 😋
For tapas, we tried the prawn croquetas and fried squid. The croquetas were excellent: light, creamy, and full of flavor. The squid was also tasty, and the homemade mayo was a nice touch, though the oil flavor felt a bit strong — maybe it wasn’t the freshest, or perhaps the squid could have been drained a little more after frying.
As a main, I had the octopus — perfectly cooked, tender and melting in my mouth, with a well-balanced seasoning that never overwhelmed. For dessert, the mille-foglie was delicate, mildly sweet, and pleasantly light.
All of this came with warm, attentive service and a relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended if you’re after something authentic and...
Read moreAbsolutely loved our meal at Emma Gastrobar. We booked based on the reviews we read online. It did not disappoint. We were given complimentary gazpacho soup as an amuse bouche. Totally amazing. We ate 3 courses. I had pork belly starter, sea bass main and baileys tiramisu. My friend had burrata starter, steak and tiramisu (see photos) each course was beautifully presented and tasted amazing. Each dish had obviously been carefully thought out with great flavour combinations. We also enjoyed a bottle of Sauvignon blanc with our dinner. At the end of the meal we had a complimentary limoncello shot. Simply lovely! Our waitress was very attentive and chatted with us when we asked questions. If I was staying longer I would definitely eat here again. 100% recommend. Great value for...
