Superb, superb, superb.

I've eaten at La Hacienda almost weekly for over 7 years and It's our restaurant of choice for Christmas Eve and other special occasions... Simply put...It never disappoints !

If there is ever an issue over one of our friends meals... usually due to someone "not" saying what it is they want ! The problem is "dealt with"...efficiently and with good grace.

I love all the dishes and I always recommend the "Dakota" Ribeye Steaks, which does have a little fat marbled through it...for Flavour !! Ribs another great choice, and they always offer fish dishes too... The large prawns in a sherry sauce on rice are a nº1 choice of mine.

Price wise...La Hacienda is not expensive and really good value... Be warned..."starters" are rarely ever needed, the portions are very good and the complimentary salad bar is ...simply amazing...the best salad bar I've ever been offered.

The decor of this restaurant is charming, and the place is always busy and packed with atmosphere, in winter they have two roaring log fires, the tables around the fire are always a good choice ! The restaurant has been extended over the years and one comment i would make is that in summer the service is never quite as good ... The staff are to my mind; spread to thinly, thats not to say the service is bad...It isnt.. its just slower and less "joined up" But hey...no one is in a rush!!

Great food...Great venue... Good and friendly service, at a fair price...what else does anyone want !! I totally recommend...

If you stayed in Peguera and didn't go to this place, you just skipped the most incredible opportunity and failed your vacations entirely. We came here on Sunday night, not knowing how great is this place. It was fully packed, and we didn't have a reservation. But my boyfriend had a birthday that day, and he is a huge fan of meat / BBQ / grill / high-quality steaks. And we explained it. And the staff was so kind and friendly and chill and making jokes that they provide us with a table. (Thank you very much, guys, you are the best in the city!)

The food was just gorgeous. You chose the main course, and it will be delicious anyway. You see how the kitchen is working. These people are professionals and will definitely make you happy. The only problem is that we ate too much. Partly it's because the salad bar was included, but it's because you can not stop eating the meat and leave it on a plate and go. Thanks for the sangria. It was also delicious.

I'm happy that we managed to get to this place, and it's a miracle that it exists. Thank you for the kind, friendly and nice people working there and for our birthday song, ice cream, and a firework. It was just a...

We have been to this restaurant several times and always found it exceptional for both quality of food and service. This time, the food was great as always but the service was very poor and spoiled the experience. Our waitress was - for whatever reason - quite unfriendly from the moment we arrived. We ordered two rib eye steaks (I always eat rib-eye, as does my daughter). When the food arrived, they were rump steaks, so naturally we sent them back. The ‘apology’ from our waitress was a rather pathetic attempt to shift the blame back to us, and it would have been far better if she had just accepted responsibility for her mistake. She also forgot the glass of wine I ordered, but I couldn’t be bothered to tell her and just ordered it again from another member of staff. The sauces that came with the steak were left at the table and of course became cold. Again, I didn’t bother complaining because the waitress was so aggressive and defensive. I would advise the owners of this splendid restaurant to consider the attitude of staff towards customers. I would advise our waitress to consider a career outside...
