Malamia Takeaway in Santa Ponsa is an absolute gem! My partner and I stopped by for a meal, and we were blown away by the quality of the food. Everything we ordered was hot, fast, and incredibly tasty. The flavors were fresh and vibrant, and it’s clear that they use top-quality ingredients.

The service was impressively quick as well. Even though it’s a takeaway spot, everything was prepared and served in no time. We didn’t have to wait long at all, and the staff was friendly and efficient. We also loved the view from the takeaway — while waiting for our order, we had a lovely view of the surroundings, which added to the relaxed, enjoyable experience.

For the two of us, including starters, the total came to just €50, which we thought was very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. You can easily spend more elsewhere, but for the price, Malamia delivers excellent value.

I was there last weekend for my friend's stag do, and I went to meet some of my friends who were having lunch. Since they had already ordered and I had already eaten, I went up to the bar to order a drink. I ordered a vodka and Sprite, went to pay with my card, and the barman called over the manager, who came over and took the card reader.

Granted, it was my fault for not checking the amount, but the manager attempted to withdraw 800 euros from my account. Luckily, my bank blocked the transaction. My card has been canceled, and I have reported the incident to the fraud department.

We came in with high hopes and left quite disappointed. Food was immaculate, but there's always room for improvement. It was prepared quicky and brought out to us for us to enjoy and we were quite impressed. Fries were crispy, pizza's were huge and the garlic bread was extremely tasty with the garlic sauce that was brought out. But, the service could be improved. The atmosphere was quite gloomy, likewise with our waiter.
