Simar’s Spice Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Calvià

We were on vacation and staying at a nearby hotel when we came across this place. The area is really nice, and we decided to give it a try. I’ve been to India several times, and I can honestly say, this is the most authentic and delicious Indian food I’ve had in Mallorca. Definitely a hidden gem.

We ordered the butter chicken with rice and naan, and wow, what a taste! It was rich, flavorful, and cooked just right. The spices were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. The naan was warm and soft, perfect for scooping up the sauce.

Visited the restaurant during our stay and unfortunately wish I did not decide to eat at this restaurant. Firstly the place had nobody in eating but looking at reviews thought we would give it a go..

Firstly, it was worrying that we constantly heard a microwave noise. The food come out and the starters were cold The mains - was basically meat in a sauce, no flavour and the chicken was not fresh. When mentioning it to the waiter they just didn’t care.
