Restaurante Miami — Restaurant in Calvià

Just by walking past here we was was quite sceptical as we were trying to find a more authentic and Majorcan experience, maybe something a bit more restaurant looking than this. However, after reading the previous reviews and seeing the 4.5 star rating we decided to give it a go. I can not speak for all food on the menu however me and my partner both got a chicken kebab, rice and chips. I know that’s not the most adventurous however it was extremely bland and flavourless. The chicken had no seasoning, just grilled chicken, the chips were really thin and crispy to the point where I had to scoop them with my fork instead of stab them and the rice, the same as the chicken, was just very plain. However, we still did enjoy it, as we went in with no expectations what so ever and the food itself, although bland, was still tasty. If the price was not as high as a decent restaurant here in Mallorca (€50 for both of us) I think we’d have been a lot happier. Overall, if your looking for somewhere to take your kids with lovely attentive staff and average food this is the place. If you want to go all out and have an ‘adventurous’ meal, I’d advise to go elsewhere. Once again though we did only get chicken kebab so there are some limitations to my subjective opinion. Very disappointed, if I could give no stars I would. staff were rude and do not deserve customers. Took them ages to even take us on to seat us then just plonked us at a wonky table. My daughter ordered a prawn salad and she received 3 prawns on 1 piece of lettuce with a frozen ice think that was inedible this meal was 12 euros. Myself and husband ordered homemade lasagne this was a microwave meal placed on a round bowl, not nicely presented and tastes vile. We had 1 drink 2 soft drinks and a beer and this came to 61 euros. We went for a meal for kids and a drink and tapas for ourselves. The waiter was extremely rude. Whilst he was taking the order, he kept saying: thats all? Thats all? Literally I was giving the order and got really offended as they were offensive with the way they talked at me. I had a newborn baby with me who was upset as it was hot. Definitely don't recommend. The food was minimal and service really bad. All was fried from frozen. Definitely will NEVER return. Not polite, and definitely not caring.
