The food was really great! However, the customer service not so much. Communication in English and even with pointing things on the menu was really hard.

First of all, the cocktails with alcool came without any, then, the prices on the internet menu and the one in real life weren’t the same.

The curry was really expensive (24€) as it is served without any rice and if you want a TINY bowl of it, it costs 6€. (You need at least two) So it costs 36€ for it.

And that’s when they still have regular rice, because if not, you will have to take coconut rice. A shame for a Thai Restaurant.

Think about this, it’s as if you would take some carbonara dish but it’s served without any pasta…

Als Hotelgäste hatten wir mehrere Erfahrungen mit dem gastronomischen Angebot - auch mangels Alternativen. Zunächst zu Mittag mit frühlingsrollen und thailändischem Hünchensalat. Erstere wurden zunächst vergessen, dann nachgeliefert. Leider waren sie innen noch komplett gefroren. Leider in solchem Ambiente und bei den Preisen unverzeihlich. Tiefgefrorene frühlingsrollen zu frittieren erfordert keinerlei Kenntnisse, zumal hier 9€ für zwei sehr kleine Rollen abgerufen wurden. Immerhin nach Reklamation nicht berechnet. Der Salat war okay, aber ohne frische chili bei dem Preis auch etwas enttäuschend. Viel mehr als Snack am Pool gibt die Karte leider nicht her. Sommerrollen waren in der ganzen Woche nicht verfügbar. Der zweite Anlauf war ein Club Sandwich für knapp 20€. Ein Klassiker der Hotelgastronomie, der durchaus Spaß machen kann. Hier aber leider nicht. Kein Huhn, kein Ei, nur kalter toast mit kaltem und weichem Bacon, kaltem Käse, Mayonnaise, (1) Tomatenscheibe, einem salatblatt und alten und weichen pommes (ca 10-12 stück). Dafür der Hühnchensalat mit frischer chili und sehr lecker. Anschließend fragte uns der sehr sympathische Küchenchef, ob es nicht zu scharf gewesen sei (wir hatten scharf bestellt und sind scharfe asiatische Küche gewohnt). Nach einem netten Gespräch waren wir überzeugt, dass nun, da er selbst zurück im Haus ist, ein Besuch am Abend einen Versuch wert wäre, zumal die Gastronomie rundherum eher bescheidene Qualität bietet. Das Abendessen war geschmacklich hervorragend, 7€ für eine handvoll Jasmin Reis (Curry (ab 20€) ist ohne Beilage) ist natürlich hart, aber unverzichtbar. Leider zwei von zwei Personen anschließend mehr Toilette als pool gesehen. Der Service ist im ganzen Resort hervorragend, aber das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und vor allem die gastronomische Leistung eine mittlere Katastrophe. Gilt auch für den winzigen, faden und teuren Caesars Salad. Es mag eine Unterstellung sein, aber sowohl hier als auch beim Club Sandwich (welches mangels elementarer Zutaten eigentlich keines ist) drängt sich der Verdacht auf, dass bspw. Bacon vom Frühstück des Hotels...

Very friendly service, good location. But unfortunately the food is overpriced. I have never paid for the rice on the side of the curry 6€ anywhere in the world. This is robbery. At the end, a tasty far below average curry with beef cost 31€, apart from the fact that it is very small portions. Unfortunately, it had very little in common with real Thai food.
