Read moreMy hotel recommended this place. Their recommendations were mostly good, except for this one.
I ordered artichoke and low-temperature hake (see photos) with a glass of white wine (recommended by the waitress.) The artichoke, cooked in the local Córdoba way, was excellent and the portion was generous. But the hake was a let down. It smelled fishy and the accompanying vegetables were not very fresh. They were not very inventive, just carrot and broccoli, but it would have been ok had they been at least fresh. The bit of mashed potato was just alright, nothing to crow about. This was a bit surprising as at Spanish restaurants of this price point, at the very least, the main dish is quite decent. Even the bread was mushy, white sponge, again surprising for Spain.

Read moreWe made a reservation here because the food looked good and the pictures we saw of the restaurant patio were beautiful. We didn’t get to see the inside upstairs but we sat in the interior patio area on the first floor. It was a truly beautiful patio decorated with many blooming flowers. We were the first people at the restaurant and felt a little awkward but the staff made us feel very welcome and provided excellent service. Sara was our friendly server and was very helpful and attentive. Other staff also helped with our service and were great as well. We had two starters, an entree of fresh fish, and a piece of Cordoba tart. It was all good. At the end of our meal, Sara brought us a little mini cocktail to finish off our meal. It was so good, I wish I knew what was in it. We would recommend this restaurant and would eat...
