This place is in a fantastic location and in a lovely setting within Plaza Chinorros. The wide choice on the menu of the restaurant makes it the most appealing in the plaza the larger the group. Service is fantastic and there is a blonde lady with bright lips and a heavily inked gent who are exceptional waiters, always there when you need anything! These two make the whole experience great! We ate here accidentally twice this week, because other plans fell through.
Please note this place doesn't have a children's menu nor are they willing to halve a portion and price for a child. For us it was OK as we brought the leftovers home and served as lunch the next day but not great if you are just in a hotel. Also note only Italian wines on offer (which some might consider a good thing?).
Truffle pizza and pesto pasta were the best we've ever had. However home made spinach and ricotta ravioli in cream and truffle sauce feels mispriced at €20 for 5 raviolis, it makes the dish €4 per bite and you leave hungry - and it's not even that good. The expensive steak was nice but the cheaper one not so. Truffle sauce exquisite however. Furthermore the beef carpaccio starter was great value at €20 compared to the ravioli main but is more like thinly sliced medium roast beef than carpaccio. Also on our first visit I was shocked to see aubergine parmigiana starter at €21 but 2 days later this had been corrected to €12. So food is a bit hit and miss to be honest at this price point and seems like dishes are very arbitrarily priced.
Still would go again due to fantastic service and location but maybe ask super helpful waiters what to order? Shame it's not possible to tip waiters unless in cash as would have wanted to do so but never have change! Also was annoyed by the no children's portions policy. In general when I consider the complaints such as strange pricing and odd policies, management seems not great but front of house staff ...
Read moreWe had 2 separate bookings here, and we were 13 people the first day. The 3 of us ordered the lasangna, and it was cold and tasteless. When we told the server, they took the lasagna to the kitchen to reheat, i guess, and then we saw that they didn't know which one was which and was still cold. Myself ordered the Linguine alla pescatora, and it was slightly cold. You could tell it had been sitting. The seafood was overcooked and was tasteless. The others in our group took the pizza, and they were happy about it. Then came the paying, the servers had been writing the order wrong and there were alot of trouble paying took almost 40 mins to just paying.. Now comes the second time we came back (because we had already booked it a long time ago). Everyone ordered the pizzas this time. It took 1 hour to just get our drinks, and half of the drinks were forgotten and only came after the food was served. The servers slammed our drinks on the table and just stacked them just for us to serve ourselves. (I guess they recognised us from 2 days ago and were angry at us). i can't believe how rude one of the girls was. We were on a family holiday, and this really upset our older family members. I guess that day were very stressful for them because they messed up other customers' orders besides ours because the bartender had to take our orders and he didn't speak anh English but that we didn't mind. The paying was difficult once again, and overall, it was a very stressful experience. We will not come back. You guys really...

I write this because there are many better places in Fuengirola to eat and drink. The advice is to go where your custom is appreciated and valued.
We visited 7 days ago for the last service. We stood at the door for 5 minutes until we were acknowledged and then seated. Having sat for ‘a while’! Got up to find a member of staff to get a menu and maybe order a drink? Reluctantly and with a huge sigh, they took our order. On arrival of the drinks, the cocktail had a key ingredient missing, so I sent it back. The food arrived, and the Spaghetti Carbonara was cold and looked like a child had prepared it. All it was missing was Spaghetti Hoops! By this time, the cocktail had been returned but was still missing the key ingredient. On enquiring that the key ingredient was still missing, the staff member explained that she knew, and the barman had done this on purpose, to question the drink. On the bill’s arrival, we asked why they were so unwelcoming and why the staff thought it was funny to send back drinks (that were not drunk by the way!) The barman just shrugged and explained that the barman was the owner!! All makes sense now. They don’t care, go somewhere...
