I recently dined at Restaurante Riffi, and my experience was a mixed bag. The interior of the restaurant is quite pleasant, featuring a tasteful décor that creates a welcoming ambiance. However, the positives largely end there.
The food was decidedly average. While the menu offers a variety of dishes, none stood out as particularly memorable. The flavors were just okay, and the presentation lacked the finesse expected from a restaurant aiming to impress. They also did not give extra plates.
Service, unfortunately, was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which detracted significantly from the overall dining experience. Additionally, communication was a challenge as the staff did not speak English, making it difficult to convey orders and ask questions about the menu. I understand I am in Spain and being a typical English man, but if you're based in a tourist hot-spot then a little English would be good for business.
In summary, while Restaurante Riffi boasts a decent interior, the average food and poor service make it hard to recommend. If you're looking for a more fulfilling dining experience, there are likely better...

It’s not even about the money—it’s about the value and quality you get in return. The mortadella tasted off and was of extremely cheap quality, and even the “La Vache Qui Rit” wasn’t original, but some off-brand version. For €10 per serving, I’d at least expect Mercadona-level quality—and I’m not even picky. And of course, to top it all off, we found hair in our food.
The only redeeming factor was Amjad, who greeted us with a smile. The rest of the staff acted as if they were above providing basic hospitality. Why are we, as Moroccans, like this? I’ve traveled to places I never thought I would, and even in the most unexpected spots, I was treated better than here.
It’s truly a shame because this place started off humble and great. Either the management has no idea what they’re doing, or they simply don’t care. I gave it a second chance, and it still managed...
Read moreThese people are adorable! I dont really understand some of the recent review.. But here is our experience:
Its summer time, its obviously (very) busy everywhere. The food delay was quite fair, and the service was absolutly well intentionned. We were taken care of. My housband was more tradionnal and they cooked eggs in the way they wanted despite the rush hour. I went more risky and took a "Tajine" as they call, i love seasonned stuff and i wasnt in rest! The dessert was super great too. Toilet was well maintain, despite the busy place, wish we appreciared has we spent the day at the beach!
Great experience, and service as we love it! Attentionned.
Actually the breakfast in our hotel isnt so great so we may actually try the one they propose as their terrasse is...
