Ok, for those that read my reviews will know that I am very positive, fair, honest and so..

1.30pm - The menu looked good, the restaurant was clean. We had not booked but was told we could have a table in 30 minutes and just to have a drink at the bar. Troubled getting served at the bar , 2 serving staff but only one seems to work the bar.

2pm - shown to our table.

2.30pm - despite repeated attempts to order drinks and food, our order was finally taken. Bottle of white wine (barbadillo), apprently they dont sell this yet its in the wine fridge so we agreed on a something else, bottle of water, pinapple juice, hambugesa, almejas and paella mixta. We were informed the paella would not be served until 3pm, we said thats fine.

2.35pm - bottle of water and zumo de pina brought to the table.

2.50pm - asked three staff for the wine.

3PM - wine finally brought to the table

3.05pm - paella brought to the table. It was under cooked, lacked salt, taste and contained little meat and fish.

3.10pm - requested the burger and almejas with 2 members of staff on 3 occasions.

3.15pm - burger arrives but no clams, instead we are sent a racion of white bait. Burger is dry. Twice more we request the almejas.

3.20pm - almejas arrive.

Ive never done this before but here goes...

Kids rated the burger between 4 / 5 out of 10.

Kids rated almejas 6.5 out of 10.

Parents rated paella 3 out of 10.

In all food no better than 4 of 10.

Service rated 1 of 10. Staff were abysmal, no consideration for the customer - they require adequate training.

After dining on the Costa for 40+ years, this is the worst paealla and restaurant we have eaten in.

Very disappointed, will not...

Lovely practical restaurant. Amazing views. Really lovely staff. Our waiter, an older gentleman, was just lovely. We met the owners, two wonderfully welcoming retirees, who doted on our children and made us feel so welcome. The papa, as I understand it, began this restaurant from humble beginnings, smoking freshly caught fish on the beach, in the 1950'S. This family.business is now run by the son who has a keen eye for customer needs. The food is lovely. Just what we needed before we left for the plane. Filling, good portions, tastiest smoked fish. And of course literally on the beach. Not expensive. We will most definitely be back at...

We are an English family on holiday. To start service was slow. I doubt we would have been served at all if we hadn’t tried our hardest to be noticed in an almost empty restaurant. Many options weren’t available. We were bought the wrong dishes, orders forgotten about to the point that one of the mains was forgotten all together. The food was also bad quality for the price e.g. the ‘patatas bravas’ was aunt Bessie style roast potatoes with spicy ketchup drizzled over. Avoid at all costs especially if you’re looking for authentic Spanish cuisine.

This seaside Asador in Fuengirola was a wonderful choice for lunch, offering a delightful Basque twist on classic flavors. Despite how busy it was, the team graciously arranged a table for us outside with a beautiful view of the sea, which made the meal feel even more special. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we immediately felt at home. Combined with the excellent food and the stunning seafront setting, it was a truly memorable lunchtime experience.
