BAMBOLA CENTRO — Restaurant in Granada

The food was excellent, but the service was horrendous. The place wasn't really busy and there appeared to ample staff for the number of patrons, but the waiters looked to intentionally hide in the back or in the corner so you couldn't even call them over to be served. I waited about 10 minutes from sitting down to be offered a menu or drink. I ordered Tortellini and a Margherita pizza, the pasta came on time, but I had to wait an additional 20 minutes from the time I finished my first dish for the pizza to arrive after asking twice if it would be ready soon. Two different times I had to get up from my table to request another glass of wine. Needless to say I will not be returning and will not be recommending this place for dining in, maybe take out, as the food was indeed good.

Edit This company clearly has poor management based on their reply trying to claim a basic Margherita pizza is complex to prepare which if that were the case it still shouldn't take 45 minutes to make that's unacceptable and means they need to train their cooks better. Also doesn't change the fact I had to get out of my seat to get the waiters attention on two occasions and a 3rd to pay. If you value quality service this place...

We visited the restaurant with 2 adults and a 3 year old child. As there wasn’t a kids menu, I asked the waiter if it would be possible for our 3 year old daughter to get some spaghetti without sauce while I ordered a pizza and lasagne for my wife. The waiter pointed in the card to a dish which I rejected and said: “no only dry noodles, without sauce”. Food was the served quickly and overall ok. However, when we received the invoice and the “dry spagetti without sauce” were actually charged like a full dish “spaghetti pompadoro” for adults. I asked if there was a mistake and if they really expect me to pay 13.5€! for a portion of dry Spagetti which the waiter answered yes.

Long story short: don’t visit with small children, they have to child menu and will charge the full adult price even if you only ask for a small...

Food was average, not bad but not good. Pasta were overcooked, amatriacana sauce was not an amatricana sauce. Pizza was ok but not overwhelming. No parmigiano for the sauce... Service was inexistent. The waitor asked for our order and brung the food...period. Not a smile or anything extra. The decoration that being said is very beautiful but that's it. Really questioning the fact that a reservation is mandatory when the tables are left empty for over an hour and half and the staff refuse some customer when they could have increase the numbers by accepting them and just share a timeline before the next reservation... just my opinion.
