Beware! Not a 5 star hotel. 2.5 or 3 at best. I booked this hotel based on the pictures and rooftop bar. We booked 2 rooms, but as soon as we entered the lobby, I could tell it was old and shabby. It smelled like mold. Totally misrepresented from the pictures on line! We checked in and went up to our rooms. So disappointing and really discussing. Stained carpets, paint chipped and dented walls, and mold in the bathroom, hallways, and room corners. The bathrooms looked like a school bathroom. 1 room with shower and toilet stalls. No bathrobes or slippers either. The Jr suite my sister booked was a joke. Upper floor room with a sloping wall that you could hardly stand up on, and a pole in the middle of the room More mold, and horrible smells. We went down to the lobby and demanded our money back, and to speak with a manager. We were told one was was not available and to stay the night and we would have answers in the morning. We could not stay there and for our health. My eyes were burring and I was nauseated by the smell. The guy at the front desk was not helpful and told us he would switch our room, but could not give us our money back. He also said that he could not make us stay and that if we wanted to leave we should. We were refunded 2 out of 3 nights. I don't know how they can call themselves 5 stars or how they represent Eurostar. I would be embarrassed if I was Eurostar. We ended up staying at the beautiful Marriot property 2 blocks down, called the Palacio Santa Paula. It was absolutely beautiful in a historical setting, and they were super ||kind and took really...
Read moreWe stayed there for two nights. We also chose to drive to Granada and park our car outside the town centre ( Parking La Hípica 13€/Day). Driving into the town centre can be a problem, best to leave it there and explore on foot! Check-in: we were met with a professional and friendly team of staff.. All smooth. The bedrooms are of high standard and the interiors are well balanced: stylish/comfortable/elegant.. the location is excellent and nearby to all touristic attractions, bars, restaurants etc The hotel is cleaned throughout to a high standard ( I would only suggest some home fragrance/ incense for the communal areas,….) The windows are of high quality shutting off all the noise from the Gran Via.the same soundproofing facility could be added to the rooms entrance but it was not a problem TV- there is a variety of channels. The remote control did not work properly and was very slow. This could be much better. After a long day, watching the news at a flick of a button should be done swiftly. There is the option of having breakfast for 20€ per person which I consider expensive. Check out: the ability to check out online is sent to your phone via a link on the night before checking out: nice touch! We did however check out physically and the same standard of service was observed. We also asked for our luggage to be kept in storage and they kindly obliged. WiFi available throughout the hotel and functioning well. Overall,I would highly recommend this hotel: professional staff, great location, very good standards, PS: Shame we did not make it to the roof bar! Next...

Good for thin people
Well situated in town centre with view of Alhambra from top floor terrace bar.
Car park, public, 100 metres away but a nightmare to find through tiny one way streets and very tight curving entrance. A big car may have to manoeuvre to get in. You definitely need a satnav to find it and to leave it as the exit is on to a one way street that leads to a major commuter street which changes direction at different times of day!
Well, that's not quite true. It is one way for most vehicles most of the day but becomes two way in the evening. This is an interesting experience.
TIP. Don't use your car in Granada, leave it in the car park and take taxis. Cheap at six euros anywhere in town.
TIP Don't ask Reception to get taxi, it'll take longer. Just walk outside and stop one.
Hotel modern and airy. Not really 4 or 5 star, however. Rooms small and missing small touches such as Kleenex in bathroom or full length mirror in room. Wardrobe space woefully limited.
Major downside is that some rooms have an internal door in the bathroom to shut off WC but it is too large to open properly, and hits other bathroom fittings so you need to sidle past it. Fine if you are slim. Or not pregnant.
TIP Ask about the lavatory door when you book or get there. Avoid room 205, for example.
Service could be excellent, smIling and keen young trainees everywhere. However, because they are trainees, they sometimes cannot answer tourist queries correctly, and we nearly lost our entrance to the Alhambra because of wrong information given about...
