For two times in two days in Granada we had lunch here: they were so friendly and kind to us that we decided to come back, before continuing our tour to Ronda and the south The menu is in Spanish and in English: you can choose among several typical dishes, cooked with passion and attention fro fresh and genuine ingredients. We tried the paella (magic!), bocadillo jamòn y queso (an open sandwich: one half with Andalusian ham and one half with warm cheese on fresh tomato sauce) and ensalada mista ( lettuce,olives, tuna, tomatoes and carrots). Ah, and of course we had one of their famous cakes: we tried the one with carrots, with white chocolate on the top! Read moreThis is one of the hidden gems of Granada that is not your typical tourist trap. The best thing is that the owner knows it too. She has specially set out to tailor to a clientele that "prefers to find that little restaurant with homemade and fresh food before anything else saturated with tourists". We were those people and we liked every bit of this breakfast cafe. Not only was the food fresh and delicious, the atmosphere and coffee was excellent. The price was fair and service was fast and friendly. Not surprised that this is a TripAdvisor excellence award winner spot. Highly recommend it.

Read moreBeen there twice during my stay in Granada last month. I bumped into this little hidden gem just walking around the historic Albaicin district and LOVED IT!
They have cheap daily menus with vegetarian and vegan options (which are always hard to find), and all sorts of cakes and crepes. It is mainly a take away shop but if it's not very crowded you can sit there and enjoy a quiet coffee and a friendly talk with the owners Lola and Cramen, who are beyond lovely.
