One of the truly great experiences of my time in Granada. Popped in on a Saturday afternoon when I heard the music spilling out the door - Stiff Little Fingers - so my wife and I found the last two bar stools and ordered some drinks.
We received a wonderful welcome from one of the bartender owners who tolerated my really bad Spanish and in turn spoke to me in perfect English. The music was great - a lot of classic punk rock. All the regular customers also made us feel welcome. As we were leaving, the guy behind behind the bar said "Come back tomorrow - we are having really special tapas".
We made our way back the next day to be greeted by a different but equally friendly bartender (possibly also owner). The music was different to the day before - less punk rock but still great. The chef arrived and started knocking out incredible dishes based on the films nominated for the Goya Awards (which were taking place in the city). More incredibly - the chef was doing these amazing dishes in a tight corner of the bar using only a tiny hotplate.
Even more incredible - they didn't charge anyone for the food. I had to buy all three of the guys a beer to thank them for their generosity and then they gave me a FREE Palmar De Troya vinyl record to take home to Ireland with me (one of the guys is in the band).
We will never forget the friendship and kindness shown to us. We hope to visit...

We'd always passed by as it was either shoulder-to-shoulder, or closed when we happened to walk by at stupid late hours. I'll make it a point to (politely) push my way in next time. He makes the most flavorful tapas I've had in Granada outside of obviously ethnic places like Om Kalsum/Choibap, etc. Fresh cold beer, nice vermut, 0.0 also offered, liquor available, served with a genuine, friendly smile. The music is amazing (haven't been anywhere else I could enjoy it while out) and not at all loud. Nobody is trying to scream over each other it so it is a friendly environment for those with mild audio sensory issues like myself, which you might not expect or be able to enjoy at a...
Read moreThis place is amazing! You just have to go there on your own and experience it! It looks nice and clean, the walls are decorated with really cool records, the music was so so sooo good, they were also screening a movie about Nick cave... and not to mention the tapas which are absolutely perfect. I think that was the owner who was making them, and you can feel his enthusiasm for food in every bite. Also he's a nice guy too. When I come to Granada for a visit, I am definitely coming back there for some...
