One of the very best places to hear real flamenco in Granada, but there are a few caveats. Here is how to negotiate them:
It is a private flamenco Club only open for members, except on Thursdays. If you look at the online program and ask for tickets to the concert, they will always say no. The only thing you can attend is the Thursday night event.
The place is a big room with probably 40-50 tables. If you book a reservation the day of performance (if there are any left) you will be at the very back. So call a week ahead if you can.
The only practical way to get a reservation is to call. You will likely need to call several times before getting someone.
Do NOT trust the Google opening schedule, it is wrong: the club is actually closed to non members practically all the time. Thursday night is the only time!
They have a good restaurant, also good for groups, which is also reasonably priced. You can eat at the restaurant next to the concert room, pay up, then get in line at 10 or 15 to 10.
Last but definitely not least: they have great performers, but the performers are often for a sophisticated audience. If you are not a true flamenco aficionado you may not like it. It is like Jazz: most anyone likes jazz balads, but 2 hours of free jazz may only be appreciated by some. Same here: it may be, in some cases, edgier than you are ready for:...
Read moreMy family and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, the friendly service from the waiters, and the sunny terrace so much that we decided to return. The first visit was during Christmas 2025, and the restaurant was lively, with long tables of locals celebrating together. We initially sat at the only free table, but shortly after, a waiter kindly asked if we’d prefer to move to a sunnier table that had become available due to a cancellation.
My younger daughter isn’t very adventurous with food, so we asked if they could prepare a simple omelette with a side of potatoes, which they gladly accommodated.
On our second visit, the terrace was fully booked, but they offered us a table inside. Once again, we were treated to the same delicious food and excellent attention from the staff, making us feel like true members...
Read moreWow! Ha! What an amazing place. Visited twice during our week in Granada, first for some fantastic Cuban music on Sunday morning, then for dinner and flamenco on Thursday.
All off the food (all of it!) was exceptional. Oxtail in sherry sauce with poor man's potatoes, fried anchovies, secreto ibérico with wild asparagus... All some of the finest food we've had during a month in Holland, Belgium, France and Spain. I wish we could have tried everything on the menu. It was that good.
The service is friendly and plenty multilingual, and the flamenco show was both reasonably priced and fantastic! Can't say enough good about this...
