Food was okay but service was dreadful. People next to us sent their meals back as food was cold and after lots of shouting from the kitchen their food returned. They tried a little of it then paid and left. The next couple sat down and tried to order. Not sure what was said but they left without eating. I requested our bill and was asked for cash. I said I didn’t have enough and would like to pay by card. The waiter returned with his card machine and told me I needed to pay what I could in cash and put the rest on the card. On first attempt he said the machine has no signal and payment hadn’t worked so we did it again. I was given a receipt and we left only to find out later we had been charged twice. Too late for us but if you do ever use this restaurant get a receipt for everything even if told it hadn’t gone through. We have been to other restaurants in the area without any issues. Update…Bill was 42 euros I only had 32 euros in cash and was asked for that and pay the rest on card. As you can see, two payments have been taken from my bank account 1 minute apart for different amounts.

We got the vegetarian paella and it was extreeeemely disappointing. You can see in the picture that the portion was small and the only veggies it had were green peas and sooome pieces of paprika bell pepper. And they charge €15eur for it. Not worth it. We got also the Baba Ganoush which was ok and the pita bread, that was good. Teas were very good. Tunisian tea came with sugar already. Moroccan tea is minty flavor. Overall not worth it if you are vegetarian as the portions are too small (for the same price, meat dishes are much bigger and better served). The service was mediocre, seems like the waiters couldn't keep up with the full place and were running. We had to ask so that they would come take our order after 10minutes. Card payment.

We thought the decor looked lovely but did seem quite dark, turns out they had no lights working, when i went in to ask for a table they said no because theres no lights. Another waiter then came over and told us to take a seat outside and it’d be ok. Salad and hummus for starters were ok. When my partners chicken tagine and rice arrived the rice was clumped together and cold, the chicken was also cold and tasteless. I made a waiter aware of this and he said “yes we have no lights” and took it away, not offering a replacement dish or anything, she was just left there with no dinner. On closer inspection on my chicken and lamb skewers, which i was already suspicious of because of the heat (cooked meats should be served piping hot), the chicken was pink. I had already eaten a few bits so god knows what condition I’ll be coming down with in a few days.

I made the waiter (the one who ushered us in and assured us the lighting would have no problem) aware of the raw chicken and showed him it. He walked away for a few minutes and then came back apologetic and said we cannot work under these conditions.

There was also another waiter, perhaps a chef, who came over to where we were sitting and was tutting at us.

Having now read other reviews i can see that the lighting had nothing to do with the issues of raw chicken and cold, hard rice, but these are common problems.

The lemonade gets 10/10. Order that and then...

We didn't realize that this place does not serve alcohol. We entered a completely empty restaurant and ordered two beers. We were served two alcohol free beers. The waiter didn't tell us no alcohol, just brought them out. No alcohol is fine, but I was in the mood for a couple of drinks with dinner, decided to pay for the drinks and move on. No drama, no attempt to send drinks back, just pay and go somewhere more fitting the mood. There was something about the quick change in the waiter's closeness and demeanor that made my wife and me very uncomfortable. He went from being welcoming to displaying somewhat physically menacing body language in a snap. In the end, we went to Bodegas Castañeda about 50 meters down the street and around the corner (great vibe there, good food). I am somehow not shocked that most of the restaurants we have passed by in Granada are full of people, while this...
