Ristorante Pizzeria Mamma Rosa — Restaurant in Granada

Small pizza place with very unique decoration. I think we were the first at opening so it was very quiet. The server greeted us promptly and brought olives to the table. I am not a fan of olives but these were good and agreeable with my palate taste. We ordered the 4 cheese risotto, The Mama Rosa Mixed dish (Big enough for 2) and the Calzoni capuliata w/added pepperoni Also good for 2 people. The Calzoni had a lot of real italian flavors and if you are a fan of strong cheeses they put Roquefort cheese elevating the taste to a different level. Worth noting that if you do not like Roquefort, you should stay away. It does not overpower however it is noticeable. The Risotto has 4 cheeses also included Roquefort however more subtle. The parmegiano is the dominant flavor. All the dishes were good and very filling. For dessert We ordered Mascapone Tiramisu and coffee. Unfortunately the coffee is capsules like Keurig. We ordered a spicy salad for the two of us as a starter. The salad was cheap quality but GIANT and nothing spicy but a spicy bottle of oil that they give you separately, the starter filled us up so much we couldn't even look at our calzones. We only had a few bites of them before we left. We asked for 2 alhambra especiales they gave us the lager after asking 2x. The calzone of my husband with meat was COLD and uncooked inside, mine seemed fine and tasted good too, but careful, we both spent the next 24hs on the toilet with bad cramps. Had a quick lunch here and was genuinely impressed. The service was warm, attentive, and efficient – exactly what you hope for when stopping by midday. The Spaghetti Bolognese was terrific: rich, flavorful, and comforting, the kind of dish that makes you pause after the first bite.
