La Boqueria Taberna El Médano — Restaurant in Granadilla de Abona

Great food, authentic spanish cousins. Small portions and quite expensive, but this is really high quality ingredients and final meals are superb. Last visit we had snails, salad with duck breast, crockets, octupus, prawns, patatas bravas, sangria - everything was really high quality. We have been there a few times before and tried few other dishes and it was always great. Just be ready for small portions and bit higher prices, if you are really hungry and don’t want to spent 40 + € for a person go somewhere else. This is a place where you go to have a full luxurious experience - not a full stomach for a good price. Definitely will come back and sorry if we were a bit loud, it was a friends meeting after a long time and...

Really, really delicious! So glad we managed to get a table (we didn't have a reservation, but were there just as they opened). We had four tapas between the two of us and then shared a dessert and it was the perfect amount. The sangria really packs a punch! We only ordered a glass each, rather than a half pitcher and I'm so glad, because one glass was plenty for me over the 1.5 hours we were sat. :D

It's quite a small place, with only a few staff, so we did notice some tables had to wait a bit longer to have their orders taken, etc but once ordered the food comes out at a regular pace and we didn't have any problems like that ourselves. The staff were very friendly and helpful....

Absolutely fabulous!!! A few days ago we went to La Boqueria and experienced a very friendly welcome, great service, pretty decor and superb food at a very reasonable price.We had the most delicious starter of duck breast and foie gras shavings - the flavours were divine. I then enjoyed fresh tuna steak and my husband had tender pork with creamy mushroom sauce. A lovely coconut cheesecake to finish. We chose a really delicious bottle of red wine - a mixture of grenache, syrah and tempranillo. It was all really excellent - in fact we have booked again for tonight! Do go and try this cosy friendly restaurant, it's just great!...
