This was the second time we have been to this restaurant. The first time, about two years ago I awarded the restaurant five stars. The experience was outstanding. This time the contrast was totally unexpected. The restaurant was clearly in a chaotic state with diners waiting too long for their food to arrive. It took 40 minutes for our food order to be taken and whilst the waiter was apologetic, he like his colleagues was clearly under extreme stress. The starter arrived just under an hour after the booking but was preceded by a basket of dry overcooked toast. The toast was a real disappointment as one of the highlights of the last visit was the quality of the fresh bread and butter.
The calamari starter was nice, the ceviche was not - a real deterioration from last time. The real low point was the mackerel main course which involved a small number of whole but very small mackerel fish of a size more suited to being sardines. The labour intensive nature of the task of extracting the small amount of meat from the fish that probably should have been thrown back in the sea made the whole exercise pointless.
My black pork was passable but dry and involved too much meat.
Local wine was lovely.
Didn’t trust the restaurant this time enough to stay for desert which was a shame because the deserts last time were very good.
Finally, the atmosphere was further spoilt by the kitchen staff involved in washing up carrying large containers full of clean cooking utensils back to the kitchen from the other side of the restaurant through the tables of diners on several occasions.

Read moreFood is okay. Even though branded like some fine dining the food is not as good as neighboring local restaurant. 🙄The worst is the service! 🙄🙄The very bad service starts from when we entered the food. The wind slam-closed the door, despite that we knocked the door no one was answering until another customer walks out. 🙄We were late for 10min for our reservation and the staff was finger-pointing at her watch saying that we were late for half an hour and threatened (🫥🙄) us to finish within the next hour. We said we could, but then the waitress started to be passive aggressive by ignoring us, not taking our order. 🙄I can continue this for a couple of more things. But I don’t want this to destroy my good mood till now in Tenerife. 🫤The two male waiters were friendly though. When they were not able to communicate in English, they brought the menu—we see them making the effort. Timeline: 15:30 reservation, 15:40 arrival, very soon got salads and starters, waited until 16:30 to get our main courses, 17:00 finished all. And look at the bill. Bread for 5 was 11 euros. 🙄So my only advice is, don’t come here!...
Read moreThis is what a friend of mine told about his experience with the restaurant and his stay in Tenerife. "Ex girlfriend told -not go to that restaurant, it too good for you. So I went. We eat good, drink good, talk good. People happy there, happy too, too happy. Food different from my place. In our rent house, in the kitchen, I find Czech food "apple kaška". No idea what it means. It lost valid a year ago, but good, no problema, at all. I drink water, much water, in toilette. Water in Tenerifa has ferrum, a lot, but no problema. The more ferrum the stronger you are, my grondma told me. Tenerife Beach good and close, and black, ladies top-less, beautiful ladies, many men of cultura meet there. Me rent a car at aeroporto, nice and big, not enough big for big famillia, but me like, we feel like home, warm and noisy. Two nice people from Africa sale small things in the street. I not need small things in the street, but on holiday I buy every thing. Small things cost big money, so no money left, no money = no problema, you forget problema, thank you my african friends. I...
