Sad to report this bar is a SCAM. The location is very quaint and the owner seems friendly - but he will sell you drinks you don't want and charge you a ton for it.
We walked in one afternoon and the owner immediately made us two mojitos without us ordering them, claiming they were "the best on the island". That's not the drink I would have gone for but I had it anyway, making it clear I only wanted one. He then sent us to chat with two other patrons ("go make friends!") and shortly after simply gave us two more mojitos. We awkwardly laughed it off saying we didn't want a second round, but he turned away and left us with the drinks. In the end, we had to pay €64 for four mojitos we didn't even order to start with. When I told the owner the bill was expensive and we didn't even want a second round he got defensive saying his cocktails were the cheapest around (they absolutely aren't.)
It felt pushy and deceptive, and I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you're okay with being upsold...
Read moreThe bartender was pressuring me to give me a cocktail which I said no several times. He started bullying me. He said I was strange and that my boyfriend deserved better just because I didn't want a drink. He judge me without even knowing me or if I was pregnant or not, and even if I wasn't, shouldn't he just respect the fact that I didn't want a drink? He started bullying me with the sentences I wrote above and added several other thing like if you come to Ibiza you have to drink to enjoy life. He made everyone laugh at me. He was a bully with no empathy at all to different ways of being and living. Everything just to sell a drink. I am proud of myself for resisting the pressure of a bully. Plus, he never inform my boyfriend the price so he assumed it would be the average. Not at all! 12euros for a mojito!...
Read moreWe were walking to the top of Dalt Vila to the cathedral after sunset, and my wife was not particularly enjoying the uphill hike, when we heard from inside this tiny establishment "Best Mojito in the universe!" With that proclamation, we had to stop and see for ourselves. In fact, we determined the mojitos were the best we had ever had, and the sangria was downright amazing as well. The bartender (and the upstairs tenant, who was also there that night) were lovely fellows and we enjoyed our time chatting with them so much, we stopped again on our way back down from the top. And yes, the mojitos were just as good the second time. Highly recommend you stop in if you're walking past, as it's great service and conversation, and...
