A journey through time & taste. Nestled in one of Ibiza’s most enchanting historic locations, La Torreta offers more than just a meal: it is a voyage back through centuries of Mediterranean history. The ancient stone walls and timeless atmosphere transport you to another era, creating a magical dining setting. The culinary experience is excellent, showcasing notable variety that celebrates both traditional island flavors and contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. Each dish reflects careful attention to quality, honoring the culinary heritage of the Balearic Islands with modern techniques and presentation. Special commendation goes to Vincente, whose expertise and warm hospitality truly elevated our dining experience. His knowledge of the menu, wine pairings, and genuine care in guiding us through the culinary journey made the evening seamless. Service like this transforms a good meal into a great experience. Regarding pricing, it is refreshingly honest: you get what you pay for. The cost reflects your choices, whether you opt for accessible menu items or indulge in premium selections. If you order a Vega Sicilia Único, you will pay accordingly for that prestigious bottle. This transparency allows diners to craft an experience that suits both palate and budget. La Torreta succeeds in combining historical ambiance, culinary excellence, and professional service into one good destination. Highly recommended for those seeking a meal that connects with Ibiza’s rich past while delivering a culinary experience.

Round Two at La Torreta – Still Worth the Hype (and the Price Tag) Back again because apparently I'm predictable like that. But seriously, this location is *chef's kiss* – prime people-watching real estate where you can pretend you're somebody important while sipping overpriced alcohol free beer. ( just kidding it was good value) Walked in without a booking like an amateur and somehow sweet-talked our way to a table. Lucky us, because this place is packed for good reason. Yes, it'll make your wallet cry a little, but that beef was ridiculous (in the best way) and the bread and aioli situation? Dangerous. Our waiter had that perfect mix of fancy restaurant polish with actual personality – rare combo. Spent hours there just soaking it all in. Fair warning though: book ahead unless you enjoy the thrill of potential rejection. Worth every overpriced euro? Absolutely. I love it.

We dined here on the first day of the 2023 season (April 1st). According to the waiter, the menu had been completely overhauled. Some of the dishes worked very well, like the smoked-salmon roll filled with cream cheese, or the sautéed turbot with wild mushrooms. The steak tartar, however, won't be to everyone's liking. The dressing is not as "fruity" as in many other restaurants; rather it has a distinct meaty taste. It's not bad, also not exciting. Most disappointing for us was the chocolate dessert: it's really just a mousse and didn't go particularly well with the saffron ice cream it came with. I guess the menu will see some adjustments as the season progresses, so I'd still recommend trying out La Torreta. The setting in Ibiza's old town is certainly unbeatable. It's very popular, so better reserve a table.

First of all, I would like to inform you that I have extensive experience as a customer service specialist and have accumulated a wealth of knowledge over the years. The person in charge of reservations does not have the necessary preparation to deal with situations that require professionalism and effective communication with the client. Fortunately, I was recording the saxophonist's performance and managed to capture the whole situation. We waited for almost 40 minutes nearby, as our reservation was for 9 o'clock. When we arrived at the venue, we lined up to be served and waited for the person responsible for receiving us. As soon as he arrived, a couple abruptly cut in front of us and the attendant immediately served them, completely ignoring our presence. Politely, my husband and I decided to let him continue the service. Consequently, we were overhearing the entire conversation and it became evident that everyone wanted to sit in the outdoor area, as the restaurant gives the impression that it only has that option, since the indoor area is isolated, like a cave. So, the couple requested a table outside, but the attendant informed them that it was not possible, as all tables were already reserved (in addition to mentioning that they should have mentioned their preference for the outdoor area in the reservation, which they did not do), leaving only tables in the indoor area. However, the customer continued to insist, as there were some empty tables, and the attendant ended up giving in and accommodating the couple in the outdoor area. Finally, we were served and naturally asked for a table outdoors. However, rudely, the attendant stated that there was no availability and that if we wanted, we would have to sit in the indoor area. At that moment, we questioned him by saying, "You just gave a table to other customers." He replied that it was the last available table - and we saw and heard everything. It was clear that he tried to silence our voice, even though I informed him that the couple had cut in line and he didn't even check who was in front. When we asked him to act the same way, he completely ignored us and stated that there was nothing he could do, turning his back on us and leaving us without service. It was an extremely embarrassing situation, which makes me wonder if those people were superior to us. Did he have any selection criteria? I prefer to believe that he is just unprepared to follow the rules and act professionally. If there were no available tables, which is understandable, he should have followed the same standard for all customers. In addition, he should have been more courteous and polite to the customers of the establishment where he works, even in the face of an unpleasant situation that he himself caused due to a lack of ethics.

Observing his behavior throughout the time I was present, it is clear that he is not a welcoming or friendly person to those who are there.

Due this situation the “experience” my expectations of a lovely dinner in a Friday...

We had a very disappointing experience in this restaurant, not with the food because we did not stay there and try their food, because of the woman who is dispatching the tables to the clients. With my wife we came for dinner. The restaurant was like half full, many tables were empty. We are bit sick so we asked to have a table outside but near the wall, many tables were empty.. the woman was saying not possible because they have been already booked for Groups of 4 peoples.. we were not being able to stay and we selected another restaurant just near this one. Few minutes later we looked back to this restaurants terrasse and we were shocked to see that at least 1 couple has been set in one of tables that we requested.. is it because we are not spanish ? What the hell !!??? I went back to the woman and asked her why ? She just changed her answer, like a lyer... never again. Was not expecting to see this kind of shit...
