The service was exceptional well informed staff who explained the specials of the day etc .A lovely amuse bouche arrived promptly and was delicious. My wife had the seared tuna tartare and avocado cream starter which she totally enjoyed and was the highlight of the meal for her,I had two oysters followed with crab croquettes again fresh and delicious .The mains of seabass and ribeye steak arrived both well presented although I would say the steak required further trimming to be truly delicious. We had the custard and cheesecake for pudding and the cheesecake was sublime. The price was above average but this showed in the quality of the food. If you want something a bit special on holiday I would highly recommend this restaurant. We went to the upstairs bar after the meal great views across the harbour although it was Saturday night and the young people where having a mini rave which made this 58 year old feel rather old but seeing them having such a great time was wonderful..and the cocktails were delicious. So highly recommended this restaurant.

Beautiful view amazing food & Attentive staff . We booked after looking at recommendations and were so pleased to be guests at this wonderful, stylish top shelf restaurant. As it was my wife’s 50th birthday evening . We had Great Spanish wine & cocktails for the lady . Then surprised by the wide range of culinary delights , from the incredible crab croquettes ( you’ve got to taste these ) to the delicate prawns cooked to absolute perfection! Followed by Fish of the day and The Spanish beef served with new potatoes and a wonderful peri peri oil and flakes of sea salt . Followed by the raspberry ice cream with Melt in the middle molten chocolate , “ it was dreamy “ . The firework surprise with the stunning views . A modern feel and superb style that flowed from start to finish . Over indulged , you bet we did . Thank you so much for a truly great experience.

We had a fantastic evening at D'Vales Bay. Corralejo has lots of places to eat out but not many that are special places to eat. D'Vales was a special place to eat. Service unrushed, staff wonderfully helpful, ambience was great (live melodic singing in the background), lighting 👌, whilst the harbour lights twinkled across the bay. Food was delicious, sharing the humus and burrata dishes, then onto the special of the day.. Very tasty medium t-bone steak and the pork escalope. We are not big into fish dishes, though one or two did tempt us, and initially were unsure whether to book a table as the menu is fish orientated.. But the setting, vibe and other reviews persuaded us. So glad we did.. If you're looking for something a little bit special in Corralejo, then D'Vales is what you're looking for. Thanks to all the staff.. We had a great evening (28/11)

Nice view. Food was very basic and the cook needs training. We ordered the steak for our kids but we asked for Medium. It came to the table as way over well done. It was super chewy and didn't taste good. It was also a very thin cut (super cheap and bad quality meat) We sent it back and got a rare steak back (we asked for medium). We didn't complain again because obviously the cook doesn't know what he's doing. We switched with the steak my partner ordered.

Don't offer and promote the steak if you don't know how to cook it.

I tasted my girlfriend's sirloin and it was really awful. Tasted very bad and bland. She asked for medium and got well done.

We make much better steak at home without even trying.

My sea bass was basic. Overcooked and with only a single scallop. I was still hungry afterwards.

We paid €140 for 3 people on Fuerteventura, we were still hungry and the food was bad.

We had a million tapas and drinks in Olivo Corso in Cottilo for half the price and it was amazing and we were full until the next day.

The pictures on the menu are nice but the food tastes bad. The starters (prawns and croquetas) were better than main courses.

Never again. Overpriced. Bland. Terrible meat quality. Terrible cuisson.

edit in response to the restaurant's reply:

We didn't want to tell for a 3rd time that the cuissons weren't good because we already felt annoyed for sending back the child steak. That steak was super thin and didn't remotely look like the same cut. The fish was also overcooked but I don't like sending stuff back.

The couple with 2 kids behind us also received the same overcooked steak for 1 of their kids.

The comparison with another restaurant from another town might not be fair but in corralejo you'll find much better quality in L'oca Blanca, the ugly duckling, Piacere osteria italiana and many more.

The seabass is nothing special. It's not because it has a fancy name that it's automatically amazing. It was dry and overcooked. It was basic, the same quality that you would get in any random bistro in Belgium.

My partner didn't eat her steak completely because it was bad.

We don't like complaining but when it's not good we tend to mention it. Offering rum/limoncello as an excuse is OK but do something about the bill.

The prices do not reflect the quality. It's an...

So, despite the fact this site has numerous high ratings with suspiciously high quality pictures from customers to boot, this restaurant has proven to be one of the most expensive, disappointing experiences yet. The food was bland at best and incredibly undersized, the menu was tiny, and just about the only affordable thing there was the wine.

Definitely not worth a meal.

EDIT: The owner wrote a response and there's no other way to speak of it to my knowledge, so I'll be more exact. The menu's cheapest main dish is 18€, which is no spit of cash. This would be fair if the dining was 'fine' dining, which indeed, it does try very hard to seem so. But let's be very clear: the price you're paying for isn't the food, it's the service/presentation/seaside view. The food portions were tiny. Even with side dishes one couldn't hope to be made full by them. And again, this is perfectly fine, but a big price tag + meager portions has to be validated with genuinely mouth-watering food, which it plain wasn't. The cooks clearly tried really hard to make the dishes look spectacular, but the ingredients felt very cheap. The sirloin steak, which is 27€, consists of a sliver of meat small enough to squeeze in a fist, and the flavour was average. It felt like it'd been previously dried of most of its juices before cooking. The fish was more bone than fish, and again, nowhere near a big enough portion to feed on. My biggest regret is not having taken pictures, because all the pictures provided by the other reviews show much more appetising/sizeable portions than what we received. Maybe the kitchen was running low or something. The service is great, though, and the staff deserves their praises. Like I said, the cooks have presentation skills. It's the raw form of the food that lacks.

Oh, and I have been to other restaurants of high esteem, thank you very much. Maybe instead of taking this as a personal attack you should re-evaluate your price listings. My opinion was voiced by more...
