We were originally drawn in by the welcoming staff, location and speed of getting a table. Especially as we were a family of 6.

We were seated quickly, and received our first round of drinks in the same manner.

Ordering food was okay and the staff were helpful. They did however steer us slightly wrong with something we were looking for and also changed my partner’s mind from having swordfish to the dish of the day with was a sea bass. The paella 🥘 for one was okay - I had the the chicken & beef, tasty enough for an average dish but the whole dish seemed a little undercooked even though the beef was overdone a little. All of the starters were fine and we enjoyed them. The octopus was about average.

The fish of the day was fresh, but slightly overcooked and not filleted very well which meant many bones when eating! (Despite being promised it would be filleted better).

The lamb chops arrived cremated without much meat and after telling the staff, they removed them and took them off the bill; but it did leave us a meal down (luckily, we had ordered an extra pizza already).

We ordered extra drinks, but only some of them showed up; but they did show up on the bill - again, once highlighted to the staff, they removed them from the check.

Atmosphere was okay and fairly busy and the view over the sea was lovely. Th staff were lovely to the kids but Cleary very busy with a huge turnover of covers - so expect some speedy stomping around from the servicing team.

Reasonably priced, and the majority got the food was decent enough. Wouldn’t rush back.

Good enough for a basic meal out. Not somewhere I’d head for anything more than average or if I was out as a couple looking for an intimate meal for...

After spending 20 minutes trying to get the attention of a waiter to ask for my husbandsteak to be cooked some more, we gave up and waited another 15 minutes for someone to finally remove our plates. Upon doing so I asked to speak to the manager. I was advised by the waiter that he was the manager. I then attempted to complain about the steak and the poor service. He walked away with out saying anything. 10 minutes later he returned with the bill, saying he would remove €7 for the steak. Had the service been better I would have left it there, but he was rude and angry. So I objected, advising that we asked for a MR steak and received a raw steak which was still frozen in the middle. He shouted at me again and stormed off. I followed him to the till and explained that I was not willing to pay for something inedible. I also tried to explain that the chicken was tough and chewy, the bread was stale and there was hairs in my starter. Again he walked off on me. When he returned he told me I needed to pay the bill in full. I refused, explaining that the entire contents of our meal was awful but I would pay for everything except the steak. He then threw his metal tray at me. I left money for the bill minus the steak and we left. I have never had such an awful...

Very very slow service! Took them 1 hr to just bring out garlic prawns that too after letting them know that we had at the time been waiting for 40 min. Then when asked about mains (which we had ordered at the same time as starters), they told us that they cannot give us any indication of the time it will take to bring out mains. We told them that we need to leave and get to our hotel as it has already been 1hr 15 minutes. Then when we said if we can just pay the bill so far for the prawns and drinks they said it will come out in 5 min. 10 min later we decided to leave as it was still not here. They brought it out as we were at the counter to pay. And when we insisted we will pay for the starters/drinks and leave, they are like “It’s normal for July and August to be this busy”.

I’m not so upset about not bringing out the food in time but that they didn’t even tell us when we were sitting down that it may take an hour and a half to bring out the mains. In fact two other tables around us had also left at this point without having had their food due to the wait time. And this wasn’t...

This was probably one of the tastiest if not the most tastiest meals I had whilst we were away! Also, the best service, we weren't waiting long for our orders to be taken, I asked for some more bread which was brought over instantaneously and when we asked for the bill we didn't have to wait long for this either. I had the marinere swordfish and my friend had the chicken skewers. Both absolutely delicous! The sauce on my swordfish was delicous and the mussels were also super tasty. Additionally, it caters for all as the menu is so vast! The view was also 10/10. Top marks for all! (The photos don't do it justice but I highly recommend dining there if you're ever in Corralejo).

First look: Classic beach front restaurant, second look: Poor service. The food was unseasoned to my taste, boring and unimaginative. Good price, food below average for my taste. The main course was served after an hour on request. Then in just 3 minutes. According to the waiter, a misunderstanding. He thought I had only ordered bread. Rabbit and bread seems to sound similar. But even if that's true, during the hour-long wait I wasn't even asked for another drink. Conclusion: The restaurant tries to cater for the masses and, in my opinion, lacks class. I hope that my experience was an isolated case and that the restaurant is otherwise more convincing.
