13 Bistrot & Tapas Bar — Restaurant in La Oliva

We booked a table for dinner and when we arrived they signal a table - squeezed in a corner - for us to sit there. Since there were other 2 empty tables, we kindly requested to sit in any of those. The response from the owner was absolutely shocking and rude, he started arguing saying that all tables were the same, and the corner one belonged to us, because the cute ones were all booked for someone else - who was not there yet. We left without eating, as we didn't appreciate the rude response and definitely not how I expected to be greeted by the owner.

PS: (added after seeing the owner's response) reading his insults towards my polite review above - including laughable, lame, and brat- you can understand exactly the kind of treatment you'll get in this restaurant. Puzzled a business owner treats customers this way in these...

We ate at 13 Bistro and Tapas bar after being recommended to it from our resort host. Everything about our meal here was fantastic. Set along a bustling and lively street and serving both Tapas and mains, we decided to just go all in on the Tapas.

The dishes were fresh, vibrant and so, so more-ish. The aubergine crisps were incredible. The padron peppers were plentiful. The mini burgers, juicy and succulent. Patatas bravas crisped to perfection. And the sangria by far the best we had. I could go on but it was all as delicious as it looks.

Staff were helpful and friendly and were great with our kids' questions. Had we stayed in Corralejo for longer this would have been the place we would have returned to without fail. An absolute must visit, but worth booking as it gets very busy. Having been there I can understand...

It was just fine. We ordered 2x fish of the day. It was ok though the fish was a little bit too dry. I expected much more for this price and hype. Actually it was worse experience than in any other restaurant in Corralejo we've been.

Answer to the question from You: I don't think it's appropriate to ask customers questions like that. Who am I to set prices in your restaurant? All I'm saying is that I've eaten better (and also fresh) corvina in less hyped restaurant and paid less (since you're asking for details: 32EUR instead of 38EUR per 2 meals which were in similar size). It just could be a little bit below your standard quality and that's all - it happens, but still I think my opinion may be helpful for you (and potentially for future guests).
