The food was very nice the guitar player was very good however the members of staff were Sooooooo slow 30 minutes for a drink it's pathetic when I went up to a waiter I got loads of mad gesturing and being told to sit down. Then when a different waiter came to take our food order he basically said to me to hurry up and decide what I wanted, after I decided he physically moved myself away from the menu and stormed off. Then the food came I then asked for a drink as waiting for 25 minutes id we had all drunk our drinks he shook his head then sighed. Off he went needless to say we were nearly finished when we got our drinks, then again we ordered some sangria from 3 different waiters but after 25 minutes I had to go up to the bar to ask what had happened to my order to be greeted by more gesturing and moaning they were very busy. Having had our drinks we asked for the bill 3 times again I had to physically go to the bar to ask for the bill. Now I've never ever in my 58 years come across such arrogant ignorance in my life I only stayed because I had no other choice but please don't go...

Have been to Corralejo many times and have had some drinks in this place when passing. Always been a bit slow with service (not because they don’t have enough staff, but because they are so uncoordinated). It’s always seemed like a nice clean place, so we thought, given that we were staying quite close, that maybe the food/service might be better than just having drinks. Unfortunately, not the case. Service absolutely dreadful & staff not paying attention at all. Waited an age for everything and, when the food finally came, we could not attract any of their attention for anything (i.e. mustard to go with my steak, dressing to go with salad, Parmesan to go with pasta etc.). I think that, apart from rugby tackling the staff to get some decent service, you’re never going to get out of the place in time to enjoy anything else. Won’t be back. Shame really, cos it could be good if they just upped their game. I’m still waiting to attract some attention so I can get the bill……. ONLY COME HERE IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF...

Issue with bill please read ! - food location & service was all fine, mainly leaving this review to make others aware of this:

Waiting for bill for a while - finally comes over to take payment on a phone. Jokes about the bill being thousands, and entered total for me to pay & tap.the phone was held at an angle so I couldn’t see the actual amount I was paying . Because the price I was given was a joke price I checked my phone to see how much came out. Actual bill I was estimating about €30 but was charged €170.

Immediately contested this, and 2 waiters spoke about this, then pulled me into the restaurant to give me €140 back in cash.

Make SURE you get the bill, I expect if I realised this later and came back, I’d struggled to have proved I was overcharged. I doubt I would have received a paper receipt as it was taken on a phone, not a card machine. Could have been a genuine mistake, could have been done in the hope I didn’t notice…. Either way, I will not...

We are staying just behind this restaurant so we pass by every day, The staff are always friendly and have a chat even if we don't go in that day, There are loads of tables inside and outside on the sand overlooking the beach and sea. The fresh fish counter is always well stocked and the manager is very knowledgeable about which fish would best be suited to our taste. We had snapper fillets one evening and fish in salt another which is fabulous! Often there is live background music to enhance the atmosphere and just sitting looking over the ocean after dinner is magical, We were never hurried and were made to feel so very welcome. A truly wonderful find just off the hustle of the strip, an absolute pleasure!

We ate here twice for lunch, once for dinner and once just for drinks during our one-week stay on the island. The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and personable and overall it was very reasonably priced. The restaurant is set right on the beach overlooking the sea which is great for an informal lunch when visiting the beach. The indoor areas seem to be reserved more for dinner and have a high quality, fine dining feel. We had a selection of dishes from their tapas menu which seem expensive to start but the portion sizes are surprisingly big. Would recommend the steak for an evening meal.

We stopped for drinks in the early afternoon because the promoter was polite and not pushy. Atmosphere: Beautiful 1st line location by a sandy beach. Not too loud music, and it plays from one point, so farther from the speakers the less the music bothers you. Service: Friendly, attentive, some servers are good English speakers. We didn't eat, but drinks arrived rather quickly. Prices: A bit steep. Other things worth mentioning: The best (and strongest) Piña Colada I've ever had. So yummy I wanted seconds at. Toilet: paper-flushing ban, otherwise clean -- in the early afternoon we visited.
