Absolutely would not recommend this hotel. Firstly in front of the hotel there’s a huge building site with a crane that you can see from the pool area. There’s constant beeping and drilling all day while you’re by the pool. If you book a room that isn’t a pool facing room, beware because your balcony might be overlooking this total mess. We travelled with our 10 week old baby and were surprised to find the rooms that are advertised as having en suites with baths have no plugs so not only is the bath pointless but we couldn’t use the sink to wash our son. When we mentioned it to the staff we given a random plug that didn’t fit and continued to struggle with the most basic tasks. The rooms are also advertised as having ‘mini fridges’ which was important for us for milk storage for our baby. Every morning after storing my formula and expressed milk in the fridge, we’d wake up to find it gone off as well as the food we’d bought from the supermarket. I also notified the hotel about this and I was told that the fridges are not actually fridges but ‘coolers’. Missing the most basic of requirements again. The room’s also don’t come with kettles which made preparing formula impossible. We had booked a ‘premium double room’ with Jet 2 and were surprised to find 2 single beds shoved together on tiled flooring. This meant that the beds moved around in the night and my husband and I woke up with a huge gap between us. We had to constantly push them back together again. The last night of the holiday our tap water came out brown. I went downstairs to notify reception and no one was there. The hotel receptionists had bad attitudes and constantly gave us stink eye. Jessica on reception was particularly awful and had zero customer service skills. One pro of the hotel was that it is clean and the cleaning staff were lovely. The buffet breakfast was nice but the buffet in the evening was cold. We liked going to Leonardo’s down the road for the best four cheese pizza you’ll ever have. Do not book this hotel!

Just came back from a weeks stay, started off with a hiccup, when we got to our room which was a premium upgrade (paid for) there was ants everywhere, even on the bed, the fridge didn't work, stains on the bed sheets and dust everywhere. After speaking with reception it was swiftly dealt with and rectified. A new fridge was bought up, the room was cleaned and bed sheets changed and we was given some ant spray for the duration of our stay in case they returned (they didn't) I was offered a different room but liked the location of this one so chose to stay put. The only other thing was that the pool is freezing. Other than that, I have nothin to moan about. The room is a great size for 2 people, nice sized balcony, the shower is hot and powerful. Breakfast was fairly decent. Plenty of options. The hotel in general is clean, tidy and quiet. It's a place for families and couples more than party goers. The location was perfect. 5 mins stroll to the beach, bars and restaurants and a shop directly outside. A bus stop behind the hotel to take you to correlajo and surrounding towns. The harbour is a 15min stroll away. It is a no smoking hotel which I didn't see described anywhere prior to booking so might be handy for you to know this info.

Booked 5 weeks in advance 2 rooms for my wife and I, and my sister and brother in law, we were already here, so in the booking comments we asked for 2 adjacent rooms on the sunny side, also went in next day and were assured that we would get them by reception, 5 days before holiday went in again, and told that we had our request, so to our disappointment the same middle aged woman on reception from 5 days before then, told us on booking in that the hotel was full and we did not have our rooms as requested, after a heated discussion we were given rooms over the kitchen, but not together. I thought that would be noisy, but assured not. Every morning at 5 am the kitchen staff arrive and there is constant noise of trolleys being pulled around from then on until you get up, even with ear plugs we are woken every day. On the up side, beside the reception staff, every other employee is an absolute delight. friendly and attentive, they are without doubt 5 star, thankyou. The facilities are excellent, warm pool and lovely rooms, but because of poor sleep from kitchen noise, and awfull reception I can only give 3 stars..

This is our 2nd time in this hotel. Let's start with the many pros. The hotel is located in El Cotillo, a quiet and small town. The staff was mostly friendly, we loved the shower! The bed and pillows very comfortable. The pool area is calm and relaxing, no sun beds rush, the general atmosphere is relaxing and quiet. We loved the food, especially the Spanish frittata for breakfast! I had so much of that, loved it. The hotel is walking distance to 2 lovely beaches, both quiet and clean, and even if it can be windy the beaches will still be shallow and safe. If you drive around you will be amazed by the beaches surrounding the area, breathtaking landscapes, this is our favourite area of fuerteventura. |The price for the stay was very fair on our opinion. Corralejo is only a 20 mins drive, if you want to see the market or simply be in a bigger town for the day. |Beside the hotel there is a food shop, with everything you might need, and even a laundry place, very useful. The hotel is perfect for families and people looking for a quiet and not party atmosphere. We checked in earlier, which we appreciate however we would have preferred to wait and get a better room, then |However some things really need to be said |Our room was probably the loudest room in the hotel. We have been here before 2 years ago with a room facing the pool and it was peaceful and relaxing. This time we were given a room facing the street. We did request a balcony which we got, but we would rather be with no balcony then having that room. The noise is continuous and loud, there are construction works happening outside, deliveries to the shops etc, all happening on early morning . There is a bar underneath the room and you can hear the music so loud, in fairness it doesn't last long and it didn't happen every night; However if you are tired and need to sleep believe me you can't. There was a door slamming until late night and then early morning, we believe it was a fire door. The construction started very early, sometimes there were noises outside since 6 am, again either from construction, deliveries or things happening outside. I sleep with noise cancelling headphones and my partner simply didn't sleep. They were doing some painting, and so there were men literally working beside our balcony, on our last day the man was in front of our balcony like we were face to face with him, we found this very disrespectful as we were not informed that someone was going to be right on our balcony door. We understand that construction must happen however is the hotel duty to provide soundproofing rooms, and to inform the guests when something like this will take place especially if they will be right at our door. The area surrounding the hotel is basically a big construction site, and not pleasant to see; we came 2 years ago and it was already like this so we were thinking that by now everything would be OK, but it seems like it's still a mess and not really nice to look at. When we arrived our sink was blocked, and not simply blocked, there was some stuff coming out of it ( i am not not gonna describe more), it was fixed the day after, however we don't understand how the housekeeping team did not notice it when they were cleaning the room. Also the room floor was covered in hair ( from customers before us) especially behind the toilet and near the rug beside the bed. We didn't see the housekeeping using hoovers , but only a brush ( maybe they use hoovers and we didn't see it, but if they don't, better to invest in it). The restaurant area seems clean enough, however we once sat on a table beside a wall and noticed the wall was stained ( many stains) possibly from food due to the proximity with the table. There was a coffee machine in the room but no coffee, not even a single bottle of water. So the attention to details is really lacking. |For future customers, please make sure you receive a room not facing the street, make sure its quiet and request a deep cleaning. There is a bar at the pool area however the staff is not always there, so if you want a drink you might have to look for them or wait till they show up. We recommend to book directly on their website; you will get the best prices and more advantages price wise. When we left, the receptionist didn't even ask us how was our stay, just took the keys and said nothing so we decided to leave...

Recently returned from 10 days staying here over Christmas and the new year B&B.

Rooms - The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable with a TV and fridge included for the pool side room. However, the negatives out weigh the positives. The channels are basic and the audio stutters or out of sync whit the video. The air con is preset to 24c, not what you want after baking in the sun all day long. The ceiling fan does not turn off and makes a horrible winding noise throughout the night so if you are a light sleeper, this will annoy you with no way to turn it off. Door access can be tricky, sometimes it works first time, others it takes multiple attempts or a trip to reception. The fridge only turns on when your key is in the slot, so expect fresh meats, drinks to go warm whilst you are out for the day. Towels and bedding are not changed, not within the 10 days stay however they were fresh on arrival.

Food - There's a selection of hot food, cold meats and fruit with hot and cold drinks. The hot food was always cold or loop warm, several others were requesting a microwave to heat it back up. There's little to no variation each day, one day you will get mushrooms and the next chorizo. The cooks never seem to top up empty trays or dishes quick enough so most mornings you'd be missing beans, scrambled eggs, pancakes etc.. The fruit selection is decent, again lack of topping up empty selections. Meats and bread seemed to be a favorite. depending on which coffee machine you use, one is bean to cup and others are liquid syrup. Cold drinks are cordial, not fresh orange, apple etc.

Entertainment - It exists some nights with variations and no complaints.

Staff - Front of house are helpful, polite and speak English very well. Waiters / waitresses on the other hand, they don't seem as keen to be on hand or helpful when in need of assistance or asked for anything.

Location - Really well situated and less than 5 minutes walk from the beaches which are gorgeous, clean and some of the best lagoons out of the Canaries. There's a supermarket right next door that's cheap and perfect for daily items, toiletries and beach items with a small row of other shops offering wines, beers, ice cream and excursions. Less than 5 minutes walk there is a complex of beach bars and cafe's which make some really good food for cheap. Within 10 minutes walk there is a small town that has a few shops, bars and restaurants and an amazing ice-cream shop! This is a really small quiet area so don't expect rows of karaoke bars and loud music, it's a chill vibe only. Corralejo is a 45 minute bus ride away which is more touristy and loads of bars, shops, restaurants etc.

Overall this is a clean hotel with great potential, however I wouldn't class it as a 4* but more a 3* based on the above there is plenty that needs to be improved and can be easily achieved. The complex is gorgeous but lacks enough sun loungers vs guests so you are fighting for a sunbathing spot but the beach is less than 5 minutes away. The pool is heated, always felt warm and clean.

Would I go back? Not unless they make improvements on the basics, looks aren't everything.

Was it worth the price paid? No, food lets it...

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights at the beginning of July. Overall the hotel was nice, and we had a relaxing stay, however there are some things that could be improved on.

Unfortunately we had issues with our luggage and our suitcase was delayed for 2 days, so it was slightly disappointing they didn't have simple things like a toothbrush and toothpaste that we could use when we first arrived. However there are a few shops around that sell toiletries.

We paid slightly extra for a pool facing room which didn't disappoint. We had one on the ground floor which meant we could walk straight into the poolside area. The room itself was modern and clean, a perfect bathroom.

We were half board, and the breakfast buffet was good. A selection of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheese and meats, hot breakfast and also pancakes which were very popular! However the evening buffet was quite disappointing. None of the food seemed that hot or "fresh" and it it all seemed a bit random and peculiar choices. The evening buffet runs from 1830 - 2100 and we saw them putting out some of the salads at 1730... As others have said, if you're half board drinks aren't included so you have to pay. Word of advice - if you book via thier website you get a discount on drinks and the lunch menu, 10% I think. We ended up eating out a couple of nights (definitely recommend the tapas bar "Acorralado").

One of the things lacking is a separate evening bar. The pool bar serves the pool during the day, the evening dinner guests and then closes early. During the dinner service the poor staff are running back and forth during the dinner service to get drinks. Then once you've finished eating there's no where to sit and enjoy another drink. Despite it starting the pool bar stays open till 2200, we tried to get a drink on our last night at 2120 to take back to the room but told it was closed. It seems after dinner, everyone either just goes to bed, goes out, or buys drinks from the mini supermarket next door to have in thier room. It seems a shame and I think they would benefit from a bar staying open later in the evening so guests can sit around the lovely pool/restaurant area. The "Dunas show bar" and "Solar Roof top bar" were both closed, not sure why as it seems like peek season to be open.

The pool itself is great. Lots of sun loungers, as well as day beds. However, be careful of hoggers who will put thier towels out at 0800 and not come back for a few hours. We spoke to the life guard who was good at removing towels which had been left unattended for a few hours. It could do with some more parasols as unless you have the luxury of a day bed, there is no other shade.

All in all, a nice hotel if you want a relaxing holiday to laze by the pool for a few days. This hotel isn't for you if you're looking for evening entertainment or much of an evening atmosphere at all. Don't bother with the half board, go bed and breakfast and eat out at the few restaurants down by the sea. A lovely clean and modern bedroom...
