We went into this bar on Thursday night 3/7/2025. Met by a lovely English lady from Dudley and a Spanish man who were absolutely great. As a result of their welcoming and friendly demeanour we booked to go back on Saturday 5/7/25 at 7pm for a meal. We arrived at the bar and were met by another English lady and the same Spanish man who again was very friendly. The lady came and asked for our drinks order. I ordered wine and my husband ordered a jack Daniels with NO ICE something he has done for many years. NO ICE.!!! When our drinks came there was ice in the whiskey. I didn’t think it would be a problem to say sorry but my husband doesn’t want ice. She immediately became very defensive and took the glass of whiskey and said “ I’m not psychic you know try telling me next time.” and she walked off. We were both very annoyed at her rude attitude. My husband went up to the Spanish man and told him we were leaving. When the English lady came back to the table I told her that her attitude was disgusting and we were leaving. At this point she didn’t seem to know what she’d done until I said you know what you’ve said she then tried to apologise. We left without having the food we’d ordered. Customers do not expect to come out for the evening and be spoken to like they are dirt on your shoe. The first evening we went to this bar we had a great time and that’s why we booked to go back however this particularly lady spoiled what we thought would be another lovely evening. It’s very sad that one person and unfortunately an English person has this affect on what is a great bar. As a result we would not go back...

Read moreWalked out of here tonight, please avoid if you’re used to how good it “used” to be here? Have been coming to corralejo for over 20 years and have visited the Retro many times, each time amazing, we booked a table for 8pm tonight as we know how busy it gets. Firstly I can’t be sure but I think it may have changed hands? Only 2 staff on, one poor guy making drinks for around 30 tables, we ordered our drinks, to be fair they did come reasonably quickly, however the cocktails were mainly ice. Not what they used to be like, we then waited 20 minutes to have our order taken, a couple behind us complained about how long they were waiting to order as well. 3 people came in, sat Inside and ended up leaving after about 15 minutes as no one even approached them! We ordered and waited another 40 minutes for the food to come, mine was cold, they completely forgot our sons main and there were no starters either? We were unfortunately out of patience by this time, we sat down at 7.55pm and it was now 9.10pm.. we paid for our drinks and left, so disappointed as this has never been the case in the past. Please employ more staff otherwise your business is not going to last, bad news travels fast, and we will...
