McDonald's — Restaurant in La Orotava

We came here after visiting Loro Parc, it wasn't too busy as we were able to get seated easily enough. The staff were really friendly, the waitress originally forgot one of our burgers, but she brought it over to us by the time we had realised, so really wasn't an issue.

The chips (french fries) were cold (standard for McDonald's really) so as I went to take them back to the counter, the lady who delivered our missing burger recognised me, so immediately came to see what was wrong. I explained they were cold (using Google translate) and she apologised and straight away for fresh chips

If you like the standard fast food outlets, then I've found 3 in the main shopping centre; McDonald's, KFC (next door) and Burger King which is outside the main ring of shops on the upper floor. I like this McDonald's. Whenever I've been in there has rarely been a queue and service is quick. Mind you,bit do tend to go in the mornings and not at peak children times so that might be the reason. No toilets here but there are many Aseos around in the precinct itself. They are free to use and the Ladies are clean and well maintained. Disabled toilets are also available for those who may require them. One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a fast food restaurant. During my visit to McDonald's, a staff member accidentally spilled the half of cup of Coca-Cola on me. Accidents happen, but what made it worse was the complete lack of professionalism in how it was handled. There was no proper apology, no offer to help clean up, and definitely no compensation for the mess or inconvenience. I had to leave soaked and sticky, and my clothes were ruined.
